Glad to hear Yuuji and Shouko are official now, even if Yuuji's confession could have been handled better, considering how much build-up it had.
Anyways, what was Shouko's reaction to all of this? Was she happy Yuuji finally admitted to returning her feelings? Was she pissed he deliberately waited SIX YEARS to tell her just for his own selfish reasons? Or did the book just end without properly showing us what she felt about it? I know I personally would have been furious if I was in Shouko's situation, but that about the rest of you? Nice to meet you all btw. I'm pretty new to AnimeSuki, but I'm looking forward to discussing various anime and manga with you all! |

Series hasn't ended yet. This is Shouko's response.

Hallo, I'm not sure wheter reading this novel or not. The setting (school life even if a not so common school...)and character interaction seems interesting and funny but sometimes they seem also a bit too light. I also read that the anime focuses more to character development ( that I would prefere) then the novel ( more focued to battles) Is this true? Sorry for the silly question but this is a long running novel ( at least 11 volumes)...

Anyway my worries aren't about the length of the novel but about the content. I like both character development and battles but I surely prefer the first on the seconds

I really, really wanna know how the hell did that headmaster manage to explain to Yuji the reasons for allowing the war against the third years. "Summoning Wars" were supposed to provide a gaming incentive for students to learn: "study hard, and you'll be able to get all the best equipment for yourself".
What can such a war accomplish -"study hard, and you'll be bullied by the much more experienced third years?!" That, and the timing, just depicts her as someone being unable to follow through with her own policies. Is she that afraid that awarding the best equipment to the worst class would doom her teaching carrier? Is it so utterly unacceptable to her that she has to cheat? |
