I feel a betrayal coming along sometime in the near future too. I think he's using Oro to gain something... maybe information? Only time will tell.

kabuto is one of the major mysterious because the guy is just to good. he only allows what he wants to be known about him. i think he has an interest in naruto because after the forest of death he always seem to bring up naruto. i think he is waiting for him to mature and go and then have a fight.

Maybe his special abillity is kinda like Tsundaes?

I mean it is possible, they are both "medics" and its not her blood line or
anything, just a high lvl move

I saw a fanart once that got me thinking, it was of Kabuto, Oro, Itachi, and Shark dude
it said on it "what if Kabuto was leader of..." that one group Oro used to belong to and Itachi still does..

But I definitely think there will be betrayal, maybe soon.

Yeah im pretty sure that the ability to regenerate your wounds is a very high lvl medic-nin ability, not a bloodline at all. The only thing that points to him having a bloodline is when his eyes turn red in the forest, but he quickly stops himself. I have a feeling whatever it is, its gonna be wicked

Hes definitely mysterious, and i like your theory he could be a member of Itachis "gang" to keep an eye on Orochimaru. Oro seems to be suspicious of him as well, but as long as he has no hard evidence, kabuto is a VERY strong asset for him.

Whatever the outcome is for him, its sure to be a cool twist.

This is merely a speculation but like everyone said, I think kabuto works for Itachi and is trying to hinder Orochimaru from gaining Sasuke's body. If you remember, Kabuto was egging on Orochimaru to take another body instead of Sasuke out of "concern".

Finally a thread that behelds some of Kabuto-san's potential. He is just too darn mysterious. His motifs are unknown. Even Oro compliments him by saying, "Kabuto, you can't defeat me yet" or something of that affect (recall an earlier episode). The best of his quality is that he is a true master of hiding a ace in the hole. He keeps everyone guessing till the time of his choosing. Only other character I know that shares similar trait as Kabuto-san is Kakashi-sensei. I favor Kabuto-san over Kakashi because unlike Kakashi, Kabuto can keep a pocker-face without covering his face.

I agree with Kabuto having ulterior motives towards Oro. I kind of got the impression that he resented Oro for taking him in, when he went to kill Sasuke in the hospital.

I have a feeling that Orochimaru won't be lasting long i this series, like Itachi'll take over his place when either Naruto's team or some other team crushes Oro.

Do to the recent events in the latest episodes it seems as though something is gonna happen. I'm not sure about the betrayal though... Kabuto is up to something

I'm almost sure Kabuto will betray Orochimaru.
I think Oroshimaru suspects it too but can't afford to loose such a powerful asset. He's probably thinking that he'll luck out and survive whatever Kabuto ends up doing, or just long enough to acheive some of his goals.

Kabuto needs to put up with Orochimaru so no one suspects him of his alterior motives.
Very mysterious guy indeed.

He is just patient and happens to be a damn good spy and actor. He is always concerned about gaining Oro's trust and his eyes in episode 51 are suspicious. Any theories to what Kabuto's real goals and masters are?

It's awfully convienent how Kimmaro (spelling), perhaps the best long term body for Oro, develops a rare disease. Kabuto is a medical ninja, after all. And then Kabuto manipulates Kimi into chasing after Sasuke, which pretty much guarentees Kimi's death.

So I do agree with you guys; he might have been the one who screwed Kimi over and wanted the Sharingan for himself, so he is obediently serving Oro until the final moment. His failure to retrieve Sasuke during the Chuunin Exam was very fishy; if he had the time to setup all those dead ANBUs, couldn't he have just killed them and nabbed Sasuke right away? It seemed to me he had no intention of grabbing him but instead only wanted to show his true color to Konoha. Oh, and the artist who did this fanart probably never thought of the day it would become true... Spoiler: XD
