Tales of the Abyss generic anime discussion

But I don't like the voices at all >_<
Jade, Guy and Ion were ok, but the others just sounded bored. Tear didn't even sound surprised at seeing Regret. And Arietta... she's supposed to be hesitant about some sentences and use words where they don't belong, not be that fluent in human speech -_-

I'd go with Shinsen personally. They stick to the business of subbing and don't take quite so many shorcuts of the like that Flyvedelta. If you're into "lulz" then by all means go with gg though.

Hmm. Seems the story is getting a tad bit mired in the political explanations like I hear they tend to do in Tales games.

Hope we see something more straightforward in terms of story progress and not simply people explaining things and Luke being kidnapped again with absolutely no explanation.

I finished episode 4 just now! Mieu and Ion are as cute as ever! I think I might Arietta. I like the way she talks and that her outfit is like a black and pink version of the female Vampire Knight school uniforms. Gloomietta (what Anise calls her) seems kinda funny to me.

One of the reasons why I dislike Tear in the game but love her in the anime is that her VA for the game makes her sound old and bored. But that's just my opinion. Jade and Guy's voices in the game are terrific though!

They're absolutely necessary though or else it's hard to make sense. ToA is more so than any other Tales game for its background information.

I wonder what role Mieu would actually play though. What I am disappointed in on this episode is, and I am not sure if anyone mentioned this, they took out the part where Luke uses Mieu as a weapon to fend off Arietta in the mansion. T-T

Well the part where you had to visit the roof again after the party saves Luke was cut. Which is the first sign of that oh so fun back-tracking in Tales of the Abyss.

Well you can run away from the enemies and not fight them But in general I just like the scenes where Luke uses Mieu like a weapon, not that I advocate the abuse of small animals but still...

Mieu burned a forest down. I don't think abusing the guy is that out of line .

They should have given an option for Luke to wield Mieu as a weapon in battle, that would have been awesome. I hope the anime keeps all those fun Mieu and Luke "bonding" moments
