It might have been helpful for the OP to actually establish what this series is even supposed to be about for all the people who might not actually be privy to knowledge about the manga series. It really amazes me that not a single person has bothered to do this yet. Like even a brief synopsis would have helped establish some context for the thread here.

They should do an anime series, staying loyal to the art, but change it at a certain point to give us a good, happy ending, like in the Suzuka anime (they didn't change anything there though).

Things certainly picked up fast and there were some frustrating moments too. Which is why it was good that the anime ended when it did.
