<--- haven't watched any Digimon since long long ago (right after the Digimon's first movie)... LOL>..

But this season's title sounded cool... Xros War, LOL... so I am giving it a chance.

Yeah it would seem that way. The whole saving this "melody" and the fact that shoutmon uses vocal attacks seems to cement that as being a big theme. I swear Etemon will find a way to break into this series

Interesting start to this latest Digimon series. Anyone think the main kid looks a bit like Sora from Kingdom Hearts? I like the big robot form, and how all the little guys combined to make a sword.

The Digimon World is a World, not just a battlefront. It has villages and civilizations and culture. Not to mention, Lilymon was fanservice in the first season as well. And need I bring up her contemporary from four years ago, Rosemon? Rosemon's sequence had all the necessary T&A shots that could fit on a children's program.

Also, I don't mind the fusions. Every franchise experiments once in a while, and some of them, like MadLeoOrochimon, are pretty creepy. Though admittedly, I've always been a sucker for super robots, and Shoutmon X4 is pretty close to being one.

& i wonder how many Pickmons can Digi-Xross to form a certain object?

Agree with it lack epicness or a wow impression. For now shoutmon and gang still haven't face very tough opponent, u can expect more from them.

Watched episode 3, Like the wolf Digimon, reminds me of the wolf monsters from Monster Rancher. For the new bad guys, Lilithmon and Tactimon look pretty cool.

After watched ep 1-3, Amano Nene (The girl with a twin ponytails) is my favorite human character right now. She looks mysterious, smart and (maybe) isn't evil like Kiraha.

I haven't found my favorite digimon character yet. I have to watch more ep.

i know Shoutmon X3's design was based of Omegamon/Omnimon, but why does it reminds me a lot of Gurren-Lagann? complete with its atttacks & stuff?

Heck even the enemies combine. Going to be tough to figure out just how strong all these combos are since they've completely done away with the standard system (rookie, champion, ultimate, etc). It was pretty bad. I mean it could have been worse, but a funny alternate ending would have been Shoutmon killing those two with one punch. Good luck becoming 'Digimon King' then . Episode 3 marks the appearance of the rival character Kiraha and he's your usual cold blooded cool guy type character. He has no unleashed Greymon yet, but his MailBirdramon is pretty cool. As usual with this type of character, he treats his Digimons like crap. I wonder if there's any background story? Finally Shoutmon x3 shows up! I like him...but his fight scene was...lame. I think the way he's drawn looks really bad in some scenes. His finisher was really lame too, there's a lack of epicness. Well, there's still x4, and who knows how many x's coming. The generals for Bagura Army are shown, Blastmon (Norio Wakamoto!!!!), Tactimon and Lilithmon, and an unknown Digimon: Baalmon who looks suspiciously like Beelzebumon's variations or perfect form.
