Manga 'Dorei-ku: Boku to 23-nin no Dorei' (23 Slaves and Me) is getting a TV anime adaptation.

From what I've heard, it's more of a psychological thriller-drama. Not hentai.

Wow really? This is getting an anime adaptation? I wouldn't think it would be popular enough, but then again, popularity is only one factor.

Also, I can vouch it's not hentai as someone who's read the manga. Though it hints at such a thing happening, it's not actually shown. It's more akin to survival games, though instead of death, you get forced into being the winner's slave.

This is a shocker. Based on the last few seasons I guess it shouldn't be, though, considering that Netsuzou Trap, the one with the crossdresser, and the one with the priest all were aired. I'll be surprised if this series gets full episodes and not 8-12 minute ones.

Episode 1 is out!

Let the SCM duels begin! The first episode pretty much introduced the main concept of the show and the main characters. The psychological thrilling feeling is definitely there though and it didn't take long to get to the point.

However, I'm going to keep expectations low for this show with the story formula so far.
