Re-Burst

Give a user who previous was uninstalled normally the capable to Brain Burst. User's memories of time in AW were slowly return. User cannot gain BPs and this capability can only be use once. This means if the user logs out or loses all his or her HP, they can't return. However, they still retain their memories. Users that forcefully uninstalled the program are still untested.

Burst Break

Obtain this ability is still unknown, but it is link to human emotion. It has the ability to "break off" of the Brain Burst's "normal standards". Burst Linker with this ability cannot be uninstalled when have no BP or in any other way. Obtain this ability is extremely rare and other burst linkers think it's a joke (even though it isn't).

Accel Burst

Can only be used by Burst Linkers that obtain IS and Burst Break. This ability is even rarer than Burst Break and not much is known about. The only info is known is that its temporarily increase the avatar's stats 3 times than normal and undergo a "metamorphosis". This ability has a time restriction, but time can be extended. However, the after effect are somewhat dangerous as the longer you use this ability, the more unstable your mentality will be in the real world such as a change in one's personality or blackouts. Training is VERY crucial to use this ability.

Real Burst
Ghost is the only one that has this ability. It gives him the ability to physical "touch" the burst linker, even while in a DA. Ghost doesn't like this ability nor that he wants to use it, but he will only use it the situation calls for it.

Not bad. A few sentences could explain further, but I'm let you guy do it.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention Carbon Arrow has 5 bows: 2 defaults and 3 created by IS. One of his IS ones is called "Sagittarius" which has the ability to target the weakest part of the opponent (he doesn't need to see as long he know whose he is shooting). One of default bow is named "Eagle-Eye" which can shoot an arrow 10 miles away (has a scope for that purpose).

Here are some other duel avatars I came up with yesterday:

Bronze Hammer
An avatar that can smash through nearly any defense with its hammer.

Brass Ox
An avatar who has super strength when increasing his momentum.

Timber Wolf
An avatar who can create a huge pack of wolves.

Amber Fox
An avatar that is able to temporarily hide his presence and move swiftly without a sound.

Platinum Lotus
(only could come up with the name)

Autumn Leaves
An avatar who uses its leaves to confuse opponents.

Zinc Sonic
An avatar that has the ability to manipulate sound. Also capable of blocking light-based attacks.

Xenon Arsenal
An avatar who had a lot of weapons and is able to "bend" light.

This is all I can think of.

I think most of us have sort of given up on him already. If he wants to create his Gary Stu characters, let him. Doesn't mean anybody will read them.

Working on a crossover idea (not wanting to reveal too much), so I've got a question: what color, or color name, is a good mix between red and blue (or between red and purple) while also having a name that is masculine?

So far the only color names that I've found that fit this are: Folly, Carmine, Vermillion, and Amaranth. *Maybe* Amethyst.

Played some Dune 2000 and watched last ep made me come with this. xD

Note: This character is made for lulz, not meant to be taken seriously.

Sand Warrior (colour: Brown + yellow, well desert sand colour lol)

Real name: Kurisu Banchouz (half Japanese, half Russian)

Level: 4

Abilities: Beast riding (able to tame most "enemies")
- Melee with a sledge hammer

Favorite pet to use: Sand worm

Sand worm stats
- Highly resistant to Heat, Flame, physical and poison.
- vulnerable to water (if ingested) or EXTREME high electricity that targets the whole worm.
Abilities of worm: it eats things.

When worm is used in battle, announcer will announce: "Worm sign." or when a BB is engulfed.

@lyco:
- I'd say amethyst is a good purple shade.
- For name, Carmin is a good name. Since I know several Carmins in my class that are male


@Orange: Well, they aren't "THAT" broken, since I can think of several scenarios where the main cast or my OC or even yours can cream them.

For example:

Bronze hammer: Just have Silver Crow keep dive bombing from above, it's hard to wield a hammer and strike overhead.
- Black Lotus chops him up
- My Oc and Cyan pile blows him apart with range.

Brass Ox:
- Dodge to side, stab him from backside or side (I assume head it most strong which means other parts are weaker)

Amber Fox:
Red King blows everything apart, leaving nothing in it's wake.

Timber wolf:
- Red King blows everything apart,
- Silver Crow fly and dodge wolves
- My Oc hide on building and wait for opportunity to strike.

Autumn Leaves
- In a extreme windy stage, leaves are useless, as they blow away with ease
- Fire weaponry burns everything up.

Zinc Sonic
- can't survive huge missile barrages
- Can't survive melee-oriented guys
- Again, dive bomb attacks work
- Beams, while it is said he can block "light base" attacks, resulting heat would destroy him in the process.

Xenon:
- Use a guy that specialise in night fighting.
- Also if it's a night stage, no light to bend, character completely defenseless.

Although, I am interested to see the direction where your fic is being taken.

See, they weren't that bad. Remember I came up with them just yesterday, didn't bother with details.

Carbon Arrow has been my better creative DA better than Diamond Angel and Shadow Tesla.

Just for curious, which one of the ones I came up with yesterday is "ok"?

Gold Cub's story is set in the great beginning, when there were thousands upon thousands of Burst Linkers from anywhere like @chan to little kids who poked around websites too much, to their friends and their friends of friends. A time when Accel World was new, the world was vibrant, open pvp was everywhere, and the current Kings were still training for greatness.

The Golden Age of Accel World. Its a pseudo-creationistic tale of a time that was, right before it decayed across 7000 in-game years, and drove the 7 Kings into the deadlock that Black Lotus tried to break.

"There is only one person in heaven or earth who’s worthy of appreciating your destruction, and that is none other than I."

I think that they never left. This episode just proved it rather close to the target...

"They fought, they lived, they cried! Even if they themselves forget, I never will!"

A glimpse of the grand plan by the creator of Accel World?

"I am eternal, and they live on, by my side, through me!"

Or just one boy's immeasurable desire to smash through time, transcend mortal boundaries and ultimately conquer the Accelerated World?

I'm referring more to the fact that he uses absolute terms while describing their abilities. I highly doubt he thought of these weaknesses when he wrote them, and even then, most are highly situational. As an example, how many linkers specialise in night fighting when all the stages we have seen, which is quite a number already, are well-lit? Not to mention that the system selects the battlefield at random.

Of course, but even I can create/expose weaknesses for "broken"/undeveloped characters. xD

Remember, their avatars aren't anything special (at least to my eyes) because it seems those are their special gauge attacks rather than their default moves.

Hmmm... On my Accelerated Zombie fict...
I want something to make the story and fights a bit balanced...
Obviously, If Silver Crow did a 300% Punch, his lifebar will be reduced...
The question is, by how much?

Lets say at a Lvl.0 Avatar has 10000HP then, if Silver Crow did a 300% Punch, his lifebar will be reduced by 30%.
Is that a good compensation?

More like, at night there's very little light to bend. But that's just me being picky

After the "death" of the first Red King, everyone in thought he would step up and take the throne...
But one day, he suddenly disappears. No one else heard or even seen him ever since.

I've solidified a lot more than I thought I'd be able to within a weekend (especially the weekend before classes start for me ) for the crossover idea...
Honestly not sure how much I want to, let alone *should*, reveal for it, though...
