Well vol 3 was a pretty hard read. Just got one thing to say. Just desserts.

If it gets animated it'll more than likely be a ova or a blu ray release only. But thats going to be a long time since sao is barely being animated. Sao is only sticking with the volume one and the side stories. The cross-over happened between the 7th or 8th volume of sao? Or they could pull a muv-luv and just animate a sequel without the prequel to understand it at all.

No, it's expected to cover up to and including volume 4.

All the better! I feel let down by the anime if it ends on, say, the 22nd episode. 26 episodes ++ is much better. :3

looks like 26 episodes, 13 episode per intro. It would take this amount of episodes to cover up to book 5 plus book 10.

The new OP made my day when I saw Rust Jigsaw there among the villains. Crying manly tears. The studio did a great job on ending the season with chrome disaster silver crow showing up. But the OP also highlighted much the battle with that douche Dusk Taker.

I suppose that is a good move not showing CD SC. Though it would've been awesome to see him in the OP.

I also like the way they do things but highlighting the fight with Dusk Taker is just taking on my nerves -_- I can withstand that yellow radio guy but that douche is another matter all together. Even I would prefer black vise or the IS research team than seeing him.

Hi, I normally just read stuff here once in a while, but decided to make an account for posting.

Just wanted to warn you guys who are expecting volume 5 to be in this season's anime not to be too excited. If they follow the novel as closely as they are, there won't be enough room for volume 5.

Volume 1 + 2 + volume 10 chapter 1 = 12 ep.
Volume 3 + 4 + volume 10 chapter 2 = 12 ep too I think.

They would need at least 4 more ep to do volume 5.

Edit: I forgot why I wanted to post in the first place. I am recruiting translators for Accel World to work in Baka Tsuki, to help me keep up with the anime. If I don't get any extra help, the anime will catch up to me in volume 4. I am pretty sure I can finish volume 3 before the ep for it airs, but after that will need help. The final chapter of volume 3 is 65 raw pages by the way. I won't depress you with my progress on it.

I'm trying to forget this fact....... but now you said it. Just like what I said that they highlight in the op the battle with dusk taker. I'm pretty much sure that that! will be the ending battle. Pacing wise on how they do things. They don't rushed it and take their time in animating. that's why I was surprised when I see those gate crushers in the OP. Plus the anime didn't indicate anything in the scene with the elevator plus they indicate the side story in vol 10 which is additional episode.
