But they were all highschool kids, and It was after school. Subaru and Tia were were in some club eating. NAnoha,Fate,Caro/Erio (teens) were all together and came in. ERio threw Strada @_@ at Tia and sniped a hair off her hair. and the two looked over in shock. Erio said "Sorry, Strada couldn't see, had a spec of metal in his eye" and for some reason, everyone laughed. They haven't seen each other in ages it seems.
So then Caro looks at the stage of the club and goes "We just gonna eat?" and everyone shakes their head.
Next thing I know, They're on Stage. Erio is on Drums, Tia is Singing, Subaru is on guitar, Caro is on Bass, and Nanoha and Fate (now loli) are doing some ubar cute dance.
And several people from Fon Filia are at the cafe watching them, and I'm sitting there at a table with TeleIce sharing a parfait with her. Angel was at another table on her laptop, drawing. Eva was walking around with some food on a tray looking for a seat, Wan was spazzing and flailing around.....and I can't remeber much else but I remember a lot being there.
......WTF!?
You need to get your head checked...seriously. Although wanwan spazzing and flailing doesn't seem like an impossibility.

Bahahaha!
But, wow?!
Here's an interesting inspiration for another fic...*crack*
Today's "To Make a Mother Proud" will be postponed to bring you Vampire!Fate.
Because Chicken is Happiness.
Spoiler for Vampire!Fate pt.4a:
I knew it all along, but for some reason I didn't believe it. Nanoha's skin was so smooth, so milky-white... She smelt like peaches and her flesh tasted so good... But I just ignored the fact that she was sick. The amount of foreign substances in her blood stream was enough to make me gag and want to throw up.
I was currently in the Roxbury, dancing on the floor while looking around with my eyes to find prey. I had to get rid of that taste, and drink enough to recharge myself. I did lose a lot of blood in that battle, but not enough to make me too terribly weak. I had wanted Nanoha to let me drink from her whenever I felt like it but... I guess sometimes life just hates you.
I never wanted to taste that again.
There! A vampire, the same one I saw when I first took Nanoha out. He was dancing as well, and from what I could tell he was interested in me. With a wry grin, I moved over to him and pressed my back against his front, getting a hand around my waist. I leaned back and whispered into his ear just loud enough to be heard over the music. "Let's not waste time, I want sex."
He laughed and I found myself being guided out of the club quickly. We ran a little while, me keeping my speed at a human's pace. The idiot couldn't even tell I was a vampire as well. Whoever was making these idiots around this town must be pretty stupid to not even teach them anything. The person pulled me into an alley and I grinned. There really was no limit to his idiocy.
I was pushed against a wall and almost laughed when he moved against me. I felt him against my stomach and briefly pondered what he could expect to please with something that small. "Ready, hot stuff?" He asked me.
"Oh yes." I gripped his neck and slipped out of his hold, smalling his forehead against the wall hard enough to make cracks appear. His body went slack in my arms and I sank to the ground, looking around before using my fingernail to sever the largest vein in his neck.
The taste wasn't bad, but wasn't the best. I was thirsty, however, so I drank heavily before he could recover. It didn't take too long for him to start groaning and I pressed him against the wall harder, sucking more. "You.. whore..."
I chose to ignore him, having been called many things before in my life. I wasn't dumb enough to stop drinking to have a verbal chit-chat with my food. His body grew weak and he hunched over, more dead than alive. My stomach was full and I had enough to recover from my earlier battle. I moved to his ear and spoke into it. "I'll let you live. Thanks for the drink." With that, I slammed his head into the wall again and moved away. He would wake later, and would go about his buisness. No mess to clean up, no news to worry about, and no witnesses to deal with...
Okay, maybe one.
I turned and looked at the girl standing in the alleyway. She wore an unbuttoned leather trench coat that was shockingly white. Her clothes were tight over her body, a black top with a golden zig-zag zipper going down the front. A black miniskirt covered her legs that was also accented in gold trim. In her right hands she held a staff with a cross on the end of it, completed by a golden circle hitting all the sides of it. I recognized her from before, as the leader of the group who saved Nanoha and the one who punched her to make her inhale the gas.
"Fate Testarossa." She spoke my current name as she started walking. I noticed she had on white moots that splashed with black and gold as well.
"I like your clothes," I stated, making her pause briefly.
"Ah, thank you?" She recovered and shook her head. "I'm here to kill you."
"Why?"
"Because you are a vampire."
"That's all?" I stood fully and walked towards her. She was a short little thing, and barely came to my breasts. "Why are you killing vampires if you don't know anything about them?"
She tilted her head back and looked up at me seriously. I couldn't detect a single bit of fear in her eyes, despite how cute and innocent looking she was. "You are an abomination. A plauge that needs to be wiped out before it spreads too far."
If she thought she could enrage me and make me lower my guard, she was wrong. "Why?" I asked her simply.
"...Because." She glared at me. "Attack!"
"Why?"
"BECAUSE!" She took a few steps back and held her staff at the ready. "That's what we do!"
"I don't want to fight."
She faltered. "But you're a vampire!"
"So?" I seem to be winning this game.
"So you hurt and kill people for your own gain!"
"No I don't." The girl gripped her staff harder. "Why did your group try and kill the girl who helped you?"
"What?" She blinked.
"Tia. Red head. Uses guns." I narrowed my eyes. "You sent her to kill me, so she would die. Then you went after her blood bank, and tried to kill her! A human!"
"N-no we didn't! Tia was sent on a long term mission in Germany!"
I stayed silent a moment before I realized what was going on. "Oh... I see."
"See? See what!?"
I smirked at her. "They lied to you so you wouldn't know that she was going to be killed. That way you wouldn't lose loyalty to your cause. Very, very clever." She took a step forward to try and threaten me but I stayed where I was standing. "What was your name?"
"Hayate."
"Hayate." I tasted it, liking the way it rolled off my tongue. "Thank you for protecting Nanoha before."
She finally let the tip of her staff fall and she looked at me curiously. "Why... aren't you attack me? Why did you not try and press the fight from before? They told me you were smart but..."
"They are lieing to you." I stated simply. "Not all of us are bad. Not all of us chose this. Not all of us are killers. I stay out of this war for a reason." I looked at her and stared into her eyes. She was...strangely innocent. "Hayate, you clearly don't understand everything of what you do."
"Yes I do!"
"Why then?"
"... BECAUSE!" She lifted her staff again and glared.
"Are you stupid!?" I ran forward the few steps between us and grabbed her staff, moving it away and getting in her face by leaning down. "I could have just killed you." She swallowed but held firm. I could see doubt in her eyes but fear was still not there. "I am going to let go of your weapon." She nodded at me and I did so. She didn't attack me so I smirked. "You're interesting." moved away from her and started walking the way she had come from.
"Hey!" She called out and I turned to look over my shoulder. "I... I didn't hurt her did I?"
I grinned, showing a fang. "Yes. Yes you did. I took care of her, though." She stayed silent a moment so I walked more.
"Fate!" I looked over my shoulder yet again at her. "I... like your outfit too."
I laughed and jumped up, backfliping onto a rooftop and running along it to leap to another. I had a really interesting night tonight.

my ANGST!! my lovely angst has returned!!! *squeals in delight and giddily heads over to ff.net to read/check*
ah i'm so happy right now X3!!! *huggles laptop*
Epic reaction is epic.
The fic is so charged of feelings... I'm still surprised of the way the author transmits how the characters feels, it almost makes you feel the same way T_T. It also makes me wonder if she went through something similar. I hope she wasn't.
If someone wants to read good drama and angst go read Red Roses, it's very good. I would gladly wait 4 more months for the next chapter if it's necessary ^^

Nice, more Vampire!Fate, I was missing this fic, Sa-nyan ;_;
I liked the talk between Hayate and Fate, now we can have hopes of a new ally.
Did you forget to ask for the vote? If you are taking votes this time have a pink B for Fate from me ^^
Lol Alquall! yeah i was back briefly! god life sucks atm! i want to write more fiction but i have no time i can't even read everything i want to read. Having said that, i did find time for in the name of war. If i had a word that was 10 x better than awesome, i would use said word to describe your story. As i don't, Awesome x 10 will have to suffice. Love where your going with it. Looking forward to next part

Ok Satashi, what the hell have you been eating? you churned out so many shorts random fic's and next installments of fics in so little time i want to know where you get the energy! i need some desperately!
You thought To make a mother proud was sucky? hmm i think its because there hasn't been that many long synxvivio as of yet, best out there so far would be TSS RebelS and thats not really hit any romance if at all unless you want to count the shorts you've done. Seconded to continue the fic :P
On SynxVivio, do want more Smexy Scenes
As for the dream, cheese, blame the cheese!
A For Vampire Fate, want to know what Nanoha's thinking after Fates disgusted face of the blood.
We have been sent out into the Beta Quadrant by command to investigate a spacial anomaly detected by one of our probes. Shortly after its discovery, all communication with the probe ceased, leading to speculation of possible attack on it. A few scientists, however, argued that the few readings it sent back indicated some kind of spacial anomaly. With the Enterprise E being the closest ship to the probe's last known location, we were dispatched to locate the cause of its mysterious disappearance.

"Sir, we're approaching the probe's last known location," spoke Ensign Perim from her position at the ship's conn.
From his center seat of position, the older Jean Luc-Picard nodded his acknowledgment of the information. "Thank you, Ensign. Bring us out of warp, one-half impulse."
"Aye sir, one-half impulse."
Streaking stellar bodies on the main viewing screen shifted from streaks of light to various sized circles around the darkness of space. "Data, give me a full sensor sweep of the surrounding space."
From his position to the front-left of the captain, Lieutenant Command Data's fingers swept across his control console. Readings from the ship's various scientific instruments poured onto his screen at a rapid pace. For a normal humanoid, it would all seem like a blur. But it was an easy task for Data's positronic brain to process the information.
"Ship's sensors show no vessels or known habited worlds in the area. There is also no signs of weapon fire or the probe's remains"
Picard leaned back in his chair and stared out into the vast space on the viewing screen. "What do you think, Number One?"
To his right, the ship's XO Commander William Riker glanced back at his long-time captain. "Maybe a system failure on the probe? With no wreckage it doesn't seem like it was attacked."
"Perhaps." Picard rubbed his chin, "Or someone stole the probe. But there's no traces of recent fuel-based or warp-based travel in this area."
"Sir," chimed in the android Data, "the report from Starfleet had several documents included about a possible spacial anomaly in this area before the probe disappeared."
Riker shrugged, "It's a possibility. We have encountered such things before."
"Agreed. Picard to engineering."
"Engineering. This is La Forge," came over the bridge's speakers.
"Prepare a probe to check for any...spacial anomalies. "
"Aye, sir."
When the communication line was closed, Picard looked over at his XO, "With all our luck, it'll end up being Q trying to lure us into another one of his 'games.'"
"I sure hope not. I'd rather face off against Species 8472 than deal with him again."
"Agreed."
As the probe was being prepared, the Enterprise maintained its distance from the supposed spacial anomaly. Within a half-hour, the probe was declared ready. The simple looking device was launched from the ship and steadily closed in on its destination...before vanishing from their sensors.
It had begun as an ordinary mission. They traveled to a world suspected of being the hideout for some dimensional fugitive, located him, fought as he attempted to use some Lost Logia to turn the tables, watch as Nanoha yet again over did her Starlight Breaker on the suspect, clean up the damages, and headed back to TSAB HQ. Everything had been pretty routine until about an hour ago. On their way back their sensors detected an unknown object floating in the dimensional space. Per procedure, they diverted their course to investigate. The strange object, after being deemed not a threat, was brought on board and was currently being studying in the cargo bay. Not knowing where it came from, the TSAB Warship held its position to watch out for more of these objects or perhaps the ones who made it.
The speakers on the bridge came to life. "Cargo Bay to the Captain."
Chrono Harlaown straightened up in his chair. While he was a prime example of a TSAB officer, sitting around doing nothing still bored him to death. "What do you have to report?"
"From what we can determine, it appears to be some kind of deep-space exploration probe."
"Deep-space?" That got Chrono's attention. Being they were between dimensions, it was a rather unusual place for this probe to be.
"Yes. At least that's what we gather from the instruments mounted on it. The technology is fairly advanced, though non-magical."
"Have you run a check for matches on Non-Administered Worlds?"
"We have and no matches came up. There's nothing in our records for this 'Starfleet' name we found marked on the probe."
Chrono sat back and considered the new information. A probe from an undiscovered dimension. Even more, the inhabitants seem to have found a way to enter this dimensional space without the use of magic. Though there was also the possibility that there is a tear from that dimension that the probe wandered into. That was a lot more troublesome as an unmonitored dimensional tear could provide complications should it grow unstable.
"Begin scanning the area for dimensional anomalies. I want to know where this thing came from." Now it was back to the waiting game. A game that he really didn't like playing.
After some time of staring at one of the rivets in the wall, Chrono's attention was caught by a beeping from one of the consoles. "What is it?"
"We're detecting another object. It just appeared on our sensors."
"It must have come through the same tear. I want a full scan of that area and bring the other probe on board once it has been cleared."
He watched the newer probe on a screen to his right. It looked very similar in design to the first one. That meant that there was a possibility that whoever sent the first one sent this one to figure out where it had disappeared to. It also meant they had to work faster before anything got out of hand.
"Sir, we've located the tear."
"Status of the tear?"
"It appears to be stable, though it's giving off some unusual readings."
"Unusual?"
"It might just be a miscalibration in the sensors. We're checking now."
"Hmm...How large is it?" Chrono inquired.
"Just bigger than us, sir."
For Chrono this was an interesting situation. If this was an undiscovered dimension, it could be worth investigating. Especially given the technology level of the probes they could prove to be an asset to the TSAB. Well, providing that they weren't hostile with plans on inter-dimensional domination. Those kinds of people were a pain to deal with.
"Set course for the tear. Inform HQ of our discovery and that we will begin an initial investigation of the dimension."
Leaning back in his chair, Chrono stared at the main screen as they approached the tear. So much for it being a routine mission.
Location: In the Netherrealm, thinking who to betray next...

Life is a thing most of us take for granted. Until we lose someone that we charish, are we forced to realize that things will never always be the same.
A.) Nanoha
B.) Fate
IIHHH... Nice one, Hayate sure is brave not being afraid of Fate. Hope they become friends ^^
A hill of backlog is seen, a hill because it's not enough to make a mountain but still quite large, and at the top a person is lying there, looking tired but victorious. She rises up with her arms out in front of her (imitating Mushu from Mulan) and yells out "I LIVE!!!!"

Shamal as the weepy and marginalized but nonetheless faithful wife. They have 2.2 beautiful daughters (hi Rein), a loyal dog (you-know-who), and a house with a white picket fence.
But all's not well in wonderland. The eldest daughter, Hayate, she got her mom's looks but her father's ambition. She wants an education, a high-powered career, and social justice. Daddy wants nothing more than the happiness of his daughters, but she's a man of her time (yes I keep switching pronouns to amuse myself) and doesn't believe it will come from those things. And Hayate's a good churchgoing girl, doesn't hang around with strange boys and hardly any familiar ones, but there's something a different kind of strange about her girlfriends...
The middle daughter, Vita, is worth just as much trouble pound-for-pound. She idolizes Hayate and her friends and resents her parents trying to steer her away from them. These days she's sullen and moody around the house. Absence makes the heart grow fonder, and so withheld she hardly wants to do anything but that it be with her sister these days. Everything except her sports, and those are an issue all of their own.
Seems the only one who isn't much trouble for her parents is little Rein, but she's impulsive and energetic even for her age, and helps wear them down between the real battles. It could be a light straw indeed that breaks the camel's back.
Of course, their father is a strong woman and strict disciplinarian and for all his children. The way of youth is often wayward, she knows that, and also knows it is his duty to correct them. Or so it should be, but the parents aren't all they seem either. Deep down Signum is a romantic, pining over past glories and hoping for future battles anywhere but her own house. Work is where she's needed, but it no longer feels like the good fight it once was as a young man. As for Shamal, one can't help but wonder if seeing her husband cast her thoughts afar she won't do the same. Dysfunctional just isn't dysfunctional if no one's cheating, now is it?
So far as the concept goes I like this as a blog where events are revealed from multiple perspectives by journal entries from different family members.
This sounds so awesome and interesting. Hope to see the story soon.

"So, Vi," Syn asked beside me while gripping her device. Her tattered body was stained in blood, hair matted to her skin, and smelt of dirt and grime. "Are you ready?"
I couldn't help the sarcastic grin that came to my face. I wasn't fairing much better than her. My barrier jacket was ripped and torn, blackened by crusted blood and sticking to my body. My hair had long since fell from the ribbon holding it and flowed out behind me in the places that weren't tangled together in mud. "Ready as I'll ever be, Syn."
My friend got behind he and placed a hand on my back. "Vi, just in case we die..."
"Don't say it." I lifted up Falling Soul and aimed it at the people who were coming to kill us and the people we were to protect. "Tell me when we get back home, okay?"
"... Yeah." I could feel Syn's cocky attitude emitting from her body once more and a bow wrapped around my glaive. "You promise to listen?"
"Of course." I nodded and narrowed my eyes. We both knew this would probably kill us, but neither of us would let that stop us. We had a promise to keep now, and I would do anything in my power to hear what she wanted to tell me.
I always heard that people's lives flash before their eyes when they stare death in the face, but this was my first time to experience it. As we raised our combined devices, I saw the last week blur across my mind's eye.

As you look up from the crew area, you are greeted by a familiar face.
"Yo!" Keroko greets you. "Welcome back, it has been a while hasn't it? I know I promised I'd continue this before, but between school, work, and graduation it kinda got lost. For the new readers, welcome on board! You are now on my special spot on the bridge of my own little dimensional ship, I like to call this place 'Keroko's corner.' In here, I will be giving you hints on how to progress in this story called 'Raising Heart' a dating sim staring the one and only Takamachi Nanoha. In the case of a Bad End, I will be here to tell you where you went wrong, and send you back to do it again.
Now, how about we do a little re-capturing of the events before we continue on?
When we left of, Nanoha had just transferred to a new school, and had made a few friends around class. However, the next day she was struck with realization that her family had now moved away to a different country while she had remained, and was struck with homesickness. Fate was willing to help, but Nanoha being Nanoha, she wormed her way around, not wanting to worry her friend too much. Later on she remembered she had recieved an invite from Hayate to come over and eat when she wanted to, the choices represented were as followed:
A.) I’ll go buy ingredients and cook myself a nice meal.
B.) … Hayate practically invited me over tonight; I... don't know if I want to, but I can’t really decline, can I?
C.) A meal at Hayate’s place sounds nice, she did invite me.
D.) I’m going to take a nice stroll through town, and order some takeout at the end of the day.
The winning option last time was B, but since we have a lot of new readers, I'm initiating a re-vote. Remember, in Raising Heart every single character that ever appeared in Nanoha is a possible pairing. You just have to find them. Make your choices bold, size 5, and red for easy counting." Keroko grins and salutes before turning around. After a few paces though, she stops and turns around.
"Oh, before I forget, for the new readers, Fate is the only exception to the 'all characters' rule. I wanted to write a Dating Sim story in which there truly was a diversity of choices, if Fate was an option, I think the result would have been clear from the start, and writing a story like this knowing that it will end up as NanoFate would be boring. So apart from Fate, go wild! If you want a Nanoha/Carim, or even a Nanoha/Jail, go hunt for them. The only limits to the pairings is your imagination."
Oh! I remember seeing this awhile back, love the idea. D

The gentle sunset touched his face, illuminating his handsome features with a dazzling glow. His sparkling eyes gazed fondly into hers as he leaned in closer, his hand rising slowly to her face. She gasped slightly in anticipation before his smooth skin lightly grazed her silk-like hair, softly caressing her locks. Closing her eyes and shuddering, she felt him move closer, whispering sweet honey words into her ears.
“Ever since I saw you I was entranced. Your very presence leaves my knees weak; your simplest words make my heart race. I couldn’t stand a life that didn’t include you. Suzuka, there’s something I have to tell you.”
Her heart was pounding in her chest, his every word filling her soul.
“…WAKE UP!”
The girl was unceremoniously woken as her bed covers were dragged from the mattress, carrying her with them. Groggily she rubbed her head before slowly opening her eyes, looking up to whoever had decided to act as her alarm clock. She regretted that instantly, however, as she was met with a very irritated looking Arisa who seemed convinced that glaring daggers could, in fact, kill.
“Mou, Suzuka! I knew it; you stayed up late reading those trashy romance novels again!”
Four friends from the past. Two now weave their trails in the sky, but in the life that was left behind two continue on. This is their story.
Life goes on
*starts hyperventilating* O...M...G!!!! Its Arisa and Suzuka!! People we never ever get to see! I love you! Can't wait to see this one.
The feelings came so suddenly it scared me a little. Gentle hands touched my skin, warm breath came against my ear. A sticky moist tongue touched my neck and trailed downwards to my collar bone and lips embraced the skin there.
Sudden suction, embracing arms, loving whispers.
Her hand was placed against my chest, fingertips on my neck. Slowly, experimenting, it slid down between my breasts. Warmth flooded wherever she touched, followed by a longing chill that lingered when she moved. The hand slid over my stomach, to my side, and around to embrace my lower back and more.
Shy pants, longing gazes, encouraging nods.
Her lips went lower as I was laid back, her blue hair spilling over my body. Her mouth came to my chest again, hand moving down my thigh. I felt my body twitch under her fingertips, my breath escaping my mouth in a hushed gasp.
Her weight came on me, body damp with sweat. Our mouths opened as we kissed, sloppily trying to learn how to do it. My leg went around her waist as she rocked forward, making us both suck in each other's air and pause to let our bodies calm down from the intense rush.
Yeah, that came from no where. Sorry I can't finish it on AnimeSuki ><
It's definitely love making. I like it Satashi, it has a soft, gentle feel to it.

Ok, here goes.
Supreme Khrack
"So, these are the old Kaiser's weapons..." Nanoha looked at the report, the signs of belkan magic scrolling down the screen, as Hayate responded, "Yes, but, it seems that Vivio made some changes. She still uses attacks from all of us, but she made her own style, an aggressive form of support, to be frank. As the two Aces were focused on the belkan magic, Rein put on the S Rank Practice match, as Fate stretched, Vivio in the custom barrier jacket, the blue and white resembling her mother's own flight uniform, but with several drastic changes to the makeup.
It had pants, the pale white colors matching a pattern commonly seen in traditional stealth getups, as the belt seemed to have an extended blue blouse, tucked under a plain white belt. Her blue blouse let into white shoulders, which seemed to fall into a shortened, white upper arm, before the core of her device became clear. Large, overpowered hand guards, similar to Subaru's Mach Calibur covered both her hands, as yellow daggers waited for their moment, the two on each hand guard waiting for some sort of cue
"Fate-Momma, I'm going to show you why me and my General Fighter are worthy of the S rank"
The older mage laughed, as she simply replied, through telekentic means "Show me what we both taught you."
Nanoha smiled over the com, as she signaled the go ahead, the fight match starting with a bang. At first appearance, Vivio seemed stuck, the normally aerial fighter waiting on the ground, and Fate obliged her, her Photon Lancer firing a bolt from the blue at Vivio's form. The teenager smiled, as she placed up a round barrier, the bolt dissipating from view.
"Momma, at least give me a better fight than that," the teenager remarked, as the device said "Cartridge Load!" That cry was the one she needed, the magical flow rushing to her body, her confidence suddenly rising to amazing levels
"Left yourself open, Vivio-Chan" the Ace Enforcer reminded her, her device switched over to the riot form, the shortened dress a physical symbol of the Aces' strength, beauty, and fury
She quickly delivered a series of short and precise slices, each one alerting her to the weaknesses of the teenager's omnidriectional shield.
"Vivio, you can't just focus on defensive" the Ace consoled, as Vivio seemed to have a smile on her face.
"Nanoha, look, she's going to go for the attack I told you about, the finishing move from the book!"
"Mama, with my General Fighter," Vivio's right hand seemed to glow, as she silently thanked Subaru for the technique basis, the practice runs coming in handy.
"This hand of mine, glows with my own power! Its burning grip tells me to surpass you!"
Fate shifted her device to the Zamber form now, her own personal limiters released, "Well, then, I shall have to show you the way an Ace functions!" She took a massive swing, as Vivio seemed to rush forward, deftly evading the blade with the finesse of an ace flying mage...
"Mama, Here I go... Divine Forward... Finger!" The teenager seemed to have a burning pasion, as she attempted to go for the finisher, but the strike of the riot form blocked her assault, as Fate simply said,
"The way of a true S mage is not through mimics, it is through realizing that achieving the mission goal is not always glorious! But, since you managed to evade my Zamber form, I'll see if I can take you onto the next level.
Well how is it?
I like the battle, it was very cool. I wish I could see Fate and Vivio duke it out. I want moar!

Erio threw Strada!? @.@ I've had some pretty f'ed up dreams but not as weird and cracky as yours.

@EvilRick: I love the Biorenders Project! The pictures are awesome and there aren't too many spelling mistakes. Parca looks awesomely scary.
And a short update on my trip.
Spoiler for OMG!:
I found out you can get internet in the middle of the jungle on top of a mountain! Its all thanks to this nifty gadget I bought. Also, I have a question. What do you do when your mom starts crying? because my mom freaked out today (it's the day before the big anniversary party) and I had no idea what I was supposed to do. So... things I learned from this trip so far: Leeches suck (literally), the Portland (Maine) airport is unreliable, and that this thread is an addiction. You can't cut yourself off from it.
They say that the military brain wash people to make them better fighters. I was never one to believe this, as everyone I knew was really nice and loving. You would never know that Nanoha-mama was called 'The White Devil' if you just met her on the street. I guess that's why this was so surreal to me. I didn't even feel it when I ran into battle with the others, didn't even think about what we were going to do. I knew that we fought for the happiness of others and that's what I thought about.
When I killed someone right in front of me, when I loaded a cartridge to overpower a weaker mage, when Syn's arrows showered around me to protect my body from the ones who tried to surround me...
I didn't understand death, nor did I fear it. Not because I was cocky or stupid, but because I had been around it so long. People bragging about their counts after a mission. the newspapers saying that peace had been brought back thanks to the mages battling... It was common, and I didn't know if that scared me or not.
But right here, right now, I could only embrace it. The people on this planet were being wrongfully repressed, being hurt for other people's gain. I didn't like that, and that's why Syn and I trained.
I slashed someone and loaded another cartridge, blasting a group who tried to charge me. When they fell I took to the air and shot several blast down on the ground to scatter the mass trying to loop around our meager forces. Syn's arrows saved me once again and I twirled around them, following the controllable projectiles until I was in another group of people.
I couldn't imagine what they thought when they saw me. A girl, no higher than their stomachs, in a barrier jacket, holding a device. The next thing that happened, a multi-swirling ball of energy formed between them and exploded around, sending people reeling back.
It was then that I felt a sharp jab in my shoulder. A magically enforced blade ripped through my jacket and I felt my stomach lurch when I saw it drip blood on my front side. It was a small dagger, the size of a throwing knife, but it still freaked me out.
The owner of the weapon was short quickly by Syn, why landed next to me and loaded a cartridge into her bow. Seconds passed slowly before I found myself several yards back in the midst of our own battalion. "Vi!" She pulled the blade from my shoulder and looked at me with panicking eyes. "Are you okay!?"
"It hurts," I told her truthfully while flexing my fingers and then opening and closing my hand. "I don't... think it did much damage."
"It went clean through you, you idiot!" Her voice broke and her eyes were shaking.
"We can't let them think they hurt me, or it won't matter if we win this or not right now." She knew I was right but I could also tell she didn't want to admit it. "Syn, we need to do something, fast."
"... Okay." She hefted me up in the sky just as a medical team came running to us. Together we hovered and held out our devices, loading a few cartridges in them to boost our power.
Several arrows appeared around us and I nodded briefly, dashing forward in the air as she fired. The barrage brought screams from all around, but when it finally cleared and they were able to see the damage done, I was standing there with my own device, pointing it into the thick of things. "Starlight Canon!" I screamed out the attack, bracing myself and yelling as it ripped all around me.
The force was retreating, and when my blast died down, I stood there and glared, watching them retreat. I had a barrier up, incase they tried anything, but I also knew that they needed fear if we were going to hold out much longer. Our forces were dwindeling and we had no food. If they attacked us constantly we would surely be over ran. This way, they knew we were serious and would probably hold off on another attack so they could plan.
"Vi!" Syn landed next to me after a while and I nodded at her, turning and flying off above everyone else but at a low altitude so they couldn't fire anything at us without endangering their own troops.
When we landed at the base I finally let myself look at the wound, groaning when I noticed a thick red area around it, flecked with white. "Oh no..."
"Damn it!" Syn grabbed me and holstered me into her arms, running to the medical tent. The girl never cussed, despite being such a smartass, and I knew that it probably looked as bad as it was starting to feel as my adrenaline wore off. "Hey! Help!" She yelled, bursting in the tent. "Help her!"
"Syn, I'm okay." I noticed that the world was starting to spin a little.
"Vi? VI!"
"I'm... I'm... " I felt strangely hot all of a sudden and black spots flecked my vision.
"VIVIO!" Syn's voice was wavering, despite my best efforts to hear her. "Vivio! Help her!"
As pain took over, the world grew darker as I was laid on a table. Voices faded as they talked, something about restraining, spasming, and poison...

battle, fight, hurt and take care of each other. ^_^ love that. Satashi - san
I had originally wanted to surprise Nanoha at her college by taking her out to eat but I couldn't find the girl where we normally ran into each other. Not one to give up so easily, I revved my bike and took off to go visit her bakery instead.
I was greeted with the smell of freshly baked goods when I took off my helmet and waved to Caro easily when she looked up at the beeping tone made when I entered. "Hey squirt," I hailed her playfully, ruffling the small girl's hair. "Nanoha make it back yet?"
"She's asleep up stairs." Caro told me simply. "She's not feeling that well."
"Eh?" I moved past her, despite the request to let her rest, and jogged up the stairs to the apartment. Sure enough, the lights were off and I heard light snoring coming from the bedroom. The door was pushed open and I walked into the slightly cool room to look down at my girlfriend.
A light sheen of sweat was on her face and her mouth was set in a small frown of discomfort. I slowly sat on her bed, but despite trying to be careful, the snoring stopping and blue eyes sleepily opened. "Fate-chan..."
"I'm sorry," I moved forward to brush some hair away from her eyes and grimaced when I felt the heat she was putting off. "How are you...?"
"Cold," She snuggled under the covers more and actually had a body shiver. "I over slept."
"It's past three," I reasoned with her but only got a pout. "What's wrong?"
"Nothing." Nanoha sighed and rolled over to lay on her side. She stayed like that for a few moments before whimpering and moving out from under the covers.
"Nanoha?" I tried to touch her but she stumbled away from me and went to her bathroom. The girl attempted to close the door but didn't quite make it before collapsing by her toilet and throwing up. "Hey..." I knelt by her and stroked her back, then held her as she got a small break before going again.
I wasn't really good at taking care of others so I just sat with her until she tried to stand and then helped her to the sink so she could wash out her mouth. "Sorry," she managed out before slurping and spitting out a reddish brown liquid.
"Are you okay?" I asked again, frowning as the red lingered in what she was spitting out. "I should take you to the hospital..."
"No," She shook her head and reached for her cabinet to pilfer three different bottles after looking around a bit. "They won't do anything, I'd rather be home..." I watched her take all three pills at the same time and then drink some more water. "Ugh, back to bed..."
I watched her make the trip with concern. The girl literally fell onto her sheets and laid there, face down. Her body shivered and a groan came but it was obvious she didn't have the energy it would take to cover up. "Here..." I pulled the sheets from under her with a few jerks and then tucked her in, bringing a pillow under her head. "Better?" Nanoha simply panted heavily before she tried to lift herself again. My hands went to support her but she threw up and then fell back down on her bed, too weak to move.
