NHK announced on Monday that the second anime season based on Osamu Nishi's Mairimashita! Iruma-kun manga will premiere on April 17 at 5:35 p.m. JST. The website also revealed that DA PUMP will perform the opening theme song "No! No! Satisfaction!," and it unveiled a new key visual.

The new Opening is definitely a fine successor to the original, as a fun, poppy, beat showing off Iruma and friends, his girls, his teachers, his new allies, his new situation, along with Kiriwo and shades of who might be new villains

?

Nice to be back in the swing of things with Iruma and company as Iruma has settled into his daily life along with Azz and Clara. It's sweet to see the trio together and hanging out again. Imagining Azz with Iruma's hairstyle was neat too

.

So it turns out that Iruma's rising up in the ranks has given his ring sentience, and now it can pop out and give him advice or just talk to him. Plus it's voiced by Shinichiro Miki, so that's a treat as well. Seems like Ali will be a good new companion for Iruma, though mischievous enough to get him into more trouble too

.

Poor Ameri is still wracking her brain around Iruma in drag, and not only does she stumble on him in a dress, but now she thinks he's gone crazy talking to a ring. Lot of thoughts running through her head, I bet. Too bad she missed most of the Iruma fashion show, though

.

Is there a reason Ali shortened his name? Is there more that he's not telling Iruma? Or did he just want them to be on a closer basis and his name is too long

?

The new Ending is a fun dancing beat that feels like it would be perfect for Halloween, showing off the misfit cast along with the boys and girls in nice casual clothes

.

Su-Ki-Ma! The Saga of Eiko continues as she's planning to work her butt off to buy a camera so she can take great pics of her beloved Iruma and Ameri. Go Eiko

Season 2 will cover Student Council arc, Royal Classroom arc and the Final Exam arc. It's 23 episodes so 3 arcs is reasonable.

Ali's full name will mean something to Sullivan, but that's just my guess.

I see Ameri's dad is still intimidating about his stance against Ameri dating Iruma even in video chat

Of course it all comes back to First Love Memories where we have Kakeru crossdressing with the most ridiculous beach ball boobs

It's got to be tough for Keroli to admit that people are still interested in Irumi, but as an idol she has to match fan demand and get Iruma in a dress again...which then lands Iruma, in a dress, on top of Keroli with Ameri seeing it all. That sure escalated quickly

.

Shame about the Magical Apparatus Battler being postponed without Kiriwo there, and separating our main trio into separate Battlers. Well, Azz isn't taking it well, but Clara seems to enjoy getting the chance to play video games and Ameri finally has Iruma in her grasp

.

Iruma joins the student council and finds out just how strict and demanding a job it is, one that is liable to take his life if he's not careful, but by the end he seems to be coming into his own as a member and getting a handle on it. I'd say he grew into the uniform as well, but it's also nice seeing more of ponytail Iruma

.

I see First Love Memories is now in it's Battle Shojo phase

Not even Sullivan can pry Iruma from Ameri

It turns out even the members of the student council were a band of misfits before Ameri became interested in them and took them in and turned them into such a well-oiled and disciplined machine. Kind of curious about their backstories now, especially the girl

.

So it seems Ameri has a stalker that has magically transformed her into a blushing maiden straight out of a Shojo manga, which should be fun (and is actually Hayamin's usual typecast when you think about it). I'll also say said stalker has a nice assortment of Ameri photos, creepy as it is that he has so many

.

Otome Ameri is worth it just to see her in the normal girls' uniform for once. Even Eiko is stunned

Is Otome Ameri anywhere near as effective a worker as President Ameri? No. But dang it if she's not just the cutest, trying her best and doing it in the most cutest way possible. I mean, she made stamping look cute! I didn't think that was possible

.

I wasn't expecting the villain of this arc to turn out to be Tatsuhisa Suzuki (?) playing a Latin Lover inspired demon who is stunningly flamboyant and Ameri's biggest rival, but there you go. And apparently Clara and her family aren't the only ones in this show who can spontaneously get into musical numbers at the drop of a hat

.

Look at Iruma putting a hard no at Ronove touching Ameri's hair without her permission. No one touches Iruma's girl like that

.

So we enter into what is basically a student council election, and while Ronove can just use his Charm ability to get people to look at him, what he needs to keep their attention is by basically saying he'll turn the school into a fun paradise for the students...not that he's actually promising that he can do that, but he'll try his best, and honestly that's usually enough to sway the masses

.

Ali's not happy that Iruma hasn't been talking to him that much, to the point of cross-dressing to make a point

.

Azz and Clara's respective Battlers are learning how much of a handful they can be when you take them away from Iruma...well, Clara, Azz doesn't give a hoot unless Iruma is involved

.

So does a part of Ameri want to live as her inner maiden self because that's what she knows from Shojo manga? To maybe express her feelings for Iruma better? Is that why she hasn't revered back? But it seems like she's going to try and pretend she has in the next episode

.

Su-Ki-Ma! The only thing that can get Azz engaged is Iruma talk
