Change is great.
That's what everybody claimed, because Changes bring forth new prospective, chance and opportunity.

Despite of what people said, deep down inside, nobody really like changes. It's really troublesome which is why everybody tried to cling on to their old idea as much as possible.

Which is why I believe for most people, Change is not by choice but out of a necessity.

For the sake of survival, one need to adapt to one's surrounding.

When IS was introduced to the society, due to its flaw of only allow women to pilot, men were quickly pushed to the sideline, allowing the "fairer" sex to take the center stage. At its very worst, men are literally being treated as second class citizen.

This unfortunately only reflect the lack of change in our society. Despite of all our scientific advancement, our society are still functioning like a civilization operated thousand of years ago.

Which leads to the question: What is the value of men in our modern society?

It is a lie to believe that human beings in society is priceless. It is like a hidden stat, those who contribute to the nation had higher value to society than those who doesn't.

As of now, the male gender is trying to adapt to the change. It is not out of choice but out of perceived necessity.

But when males no longer act like they used to, from outsider's perceptive, they are wimps and unmanly.

It may be due to lack of courage to stand up to their oppressor but on the other hand, can it be consider "lack of courage" to at least attempt to try to embrace these changes so as to survive in an harsh environment?

When people claimed to bring new changes to this unfair system by introducing new military technology which allow men to fight 1% closer to equal grounds as IS, one can't help but to smirked at the hypocrisy and ponder about our current situation:

How much our society had truly changed?

Human Beings are hypocrite but.... nobody is perfect so it's fine, I guess.

What I am trying to point out: Men are still being treated like solider and only have values to society as warrior but not as Cook, firefighter, engineer, police officer....etc (Other occupation that does not involve war).

Also to clarify Nemo's opinion of humanity as a whole (read: not optimistic)

Human Beings are social animals. They identify themselves only to the group which they belongs to but when group gathers, thinking stop. We forget what is truly important to us.

Forget about quantum physic since we don't operate on their logic, let us not forget: Mother Nature is a bitch which is why the world we live in is analog.

Stripped of race, gender and nationality, look inwards. How much do you worth as an individual?

Since value is subjective and you set the price yourself and therefore, you can raise your own value through own effort.

War between Men and Women:

To be exactly precise, war between Men and Women would actually end in 5 days, the three days are actually the low estimation assuming that men go head on against women. Even if luck and tactics are into account, the highest possible estimation at the very best is 2 weeks (due inefficient weapons plus effective tactics against IS requires men to be suicidal/disposal which means there is less and less soldiers with each passing days).

Most unfortunately, those numbers above are actually based on idea situation. In reality, men goes where women goes. There would be "White Knights" (and guys who are really desperate for *cough* procreation) in the ranks of men, resulting in insanely biased one-sided battle where the odds kept stacking up against men-side.

If you take that into account.... the statement War between Men and Women would end in three days, is actually an understatement. The actual war would actually end in two days (three days, assuming that the news of the War was able to be spread around the world within a day.)

Not to mention, just in case such event were to occur.... UN has prepare something to stop the fighting....

Amaterasu: (Destination: Shining Knightmare)

The core frame of this unit is actually made from White knight (hence its destination as Knightmare). On technicality, this unit is actually improved version of White Knight.

Originally designed by Tabane but due to some unknown reason (suspected to be lack of data), abandoned. It was incomplete when first found but thanks to technology advancement combining data from Byakushiki and Akatsubaki, it was finally completed.

With speed exceeding Akatsubaki, absurd level of Defense and offensive power that can easily obliterate a city. It is the ultimate IS which was sealed and banned from being used in Competition due to its sheer power.

It's weakness is..... actually most of its offensive power came from the Sun.

IS Core:
Actually share the same One-off ability as Akatsubaki....(Note: could be Akatsubaki's core)

Armament:
Improved Energy Shield: More Efficient Energy manage means the energy drain is at its minimum.

Yata no Kagami: Defensive Shield that gathers Photon for its Photon Collider. Can also be used as an insanely powerful energy cannon. Any IS hit by this without energy barrier would actually be obliterated..... Even Absolute Barrier can't stop the attack completely.

Yasakani no Magatama: Bits which can diffuse or deflect Energy burst from Yata no Kagami to creating a wide-area Anti-city destroyer....

Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi: Shaped like a folding War-fan. Its offensive power is only as powerful as Blue-Tears' Starlight Rifle but make up for being able to transform into solid shield that can block and deflect any beam or physical attack from other IS.

Due to over reliance on Energy technology, it is weak against Byakushiki....assuming that unit manage to hold out long enough.

The good news is that this IS require IS pilot with at least S-Rank Synchronization with their IS. There is only a hand-full of IS pilot capable of such feat... which include Houki and Chifuyu.

“I promise!...Happy now?” She answered his question with a deep, passionate kiss. Their tongues might battling each other for eternity, if not for the sudden end break belt. “So...So...Let’s get back to the class, shall we?” Ichika exclaimed, which Houki could only just nodded. She is still in shock. And it got even worse with Ichika holding her hand and dragged her downstair...

Except that Washu is able to care about other people. Tabane only cares about very few people that could literally be counted on one hand and gives zero fucks to everone else.

Well....

We were told that Males are being treated less favorably than female, but we didn't get to see the discrimination in action. Even fanfic authors skip that part and either just hint at it or only mention it once.

Since Nemo is the supposed "average" guy(one of the wimps), as somebody who is deemed little to no value (not a exotic/rarity like IS pilots, not manly or badass, not one of the rich 1%), it only make sense that he was look down upon and actually get to experience the discrimination first hand.

Also I wanted to showing how bad the discrimination actually is beyond being physically abused by females.
