WTF is going on with this manga...it doesn't even make sense anymore. It's like as if the author has an intense case of ADD or something and got bored and just decided on this giant giant "arc" where any semblence of coherence or story just flies away.

Okay, after a quick glance through the last couple of chapters, Im guessing that this is what happening. Souhaku has collected all of the the Bloodline abilities of the Red Feathers, those 11 corpses and Souichiro all have each a different Bloodline abilty, Im guessing that since Souhaku has the ability to revive the dead as long as there's chi in the body, I dont think he's completly "dead" yet and want to inhabit Souichirou along with all the complete abilties of the Red Feathers.
The Flashback that the sword is showing Aya is explaining how it all started. Is that right or have I completley got it wrong? |

The series is still going... but you need to have read almost all of the manga to make sense of where it is today.
And if you've been keeping up with it... yes its a freaking awesome manga. The most recent chapter just threw me into a thinking loop. |

Is she really? But if Nagi dies and Aya dies she might want to die too since Mitsuomi doesn't have long to live either.
That leaves Tawara to really become the main char Can't wait for ch98 to see what happens. Since this is a montly series when does the raw usually appear? IN the middle of the month? Or later?

Tawara the main character? Amusing and nice, but you can't be serious with that claim. The last time he had a prominent role was way back in the past arc.
I don't know. For the manga to switch the main character (as a main character as Nagi could be...) the result would be so drastic and such a jump that it would seem so arbitrary and contrived. Masataka? Please. Tawara? C'mon. On the other hand, Aya should be getting a bigger role, especially when the present is about to kick in. Sure, Nagi isn't getting that much page time compared to, let's say, Maya. But to be fair, at least the whole story revolves around his so-called role. Perhaps not as main characters per se, but he, Aya, Maya and Mitsuomi are portrayed to be the central cast of the overall story. If Nagi croaks, then the series is about to end. I can also imagine the ShinxMana parallel, but I think it could also end differently from there. That is, if the author goes down this road. Aya has the Dragon's Eye after all. Moreover, it seems that Aya is determined to save Nagi, her sister and Mitsuomi, so there could be an interesting twist somewhere. |
