It'd probably hurt more if the Bengals were a better team. No offense to them, as they're definitely close, but they usually don't beat good teams. They beat all the bad teams (which is more than some teams can say), and about 2 or so good teams, and scrape into the playoffs.

Well the Green Bay Packers will be moving on in the playoffs.
24-3 in the fourth quarter with less then 9 minutes to go. Chances for a comeback are slim.

Feel really bad for the Vikings really wished Ponder didn't get hurt so unlucky.

Indeed. Webb just wasn't showing anything in the passing game which truly did make the game one dimensional for the Vikings and ultimately gave Peterson few oppurtunities.

Well, a real fizzle for both games today. Hopefully tomorrow delivers some good ones.

Tomorrow's games should be the good ones, I would be shocked if Seattle v Washington wasn't a good one. Probably a defensive game I am thinking. Indy v Baltimore should be good, I expect it to be high scoring unlike the other game so.

A game with Baltimore high scoring? I doubt it. If either game cracks 30 points, I'll be amazed.

You realize Baltimore put up over 40 points twice this season (once of which broke 50), and another three where they broke 30, right? And that Indy's defense is rather porous?

That's regular season. Flacco in the playoffs tends to go down a couple of notches. I'd like to think he can step up this time, but history isn't on his side. And Luck is very-turnover prone - Baltimore will exploit that. I doubt it will be a high scoring game.

The Buffalo Bills landed their next head coach with the hiring of Syracuse's Doug Marrone.

Wow, refs are showing an Indy bias already. Since when could you not review who gains possession of a fumble? That's some bullshit.

I thought all turnovers had to be reviewed as of this past year? That's some serious bias indeed.

Fumble recoveries have never been reviewable. Like many announcers say, the possession of the ball can change multiple times in a pile-up scenario, so it would impossible to be 100% right. What the refs saw here is that Freeman fell on the ball and was trying to get up with it. The OL jumped on the ball when Freeman was using it to get up. Since Freeman was still on the ground, the moment the Ravens player touched him, it was down by contact.

That's what I saw, at least.

But he didn't really have possession at that time. That's why it was so easy to bop it out.

It was easy to bop it out because Freeman was using it to try and get up. He had both hands on it and possession (from the ref's POV) at that time. Yanda jumped on it then.
