Mm... Mekaku City Records is out! Impressions.

Spoiler for 1st Track Narration Rough Translation:

04 Shounen Brave: probably my favorite song of the new bunch. Love seto to begin with, but his song is also the most upbeat of the album-introduced ones. Musical bits like the synthesizer usage have very reminiscent similarities to Imagination Forest imo.

05 Twilight View Yesterday: Catchy ta-ta-ta. Tropical vibe what?

07 Outer Science: Personal alternate title, Kuroha's State of the World. That's just based off the musical feel in comparison to Konoha's State of the World though.

08 Otsukimi Recital: Pays homage to Kisaragi Attention to begin with. 2nd favorite for this album. Brass adds an unexpected energy boost.

11 Mary's Imaginary World: Subdued, dramatic, and depressing. I like! It's one of the shorter songs of the album.

Spoiler for 12 Crying Prologue Rough Translation:

13 Summertime Record: Sounds like something that would play during an epilogue.

I'm tired, so off to bed.

Currently overwhelmed with all the information from the the new album.

Only two things are in my mind right.

1. ACTA EST FABULA!!
2. Why didn't Twilight View Yesterday have a MV!! This is too painful!!!!!

Nah, there are no new MVs on Mekaku City Records, only the ones already shown so far.

This is a multi-media project. TV Anime is just a part of it. The anime series is named as Mekakushi Actors.

We still don't know Kenjirou's power, right? Not sure if the guy is supposed to want to help the children or what he plans to do.
BTW apparently the DVD from the new album hinted a "new project" from some photos I've seen. Any idea on that?

BTW, comparing with Lost Time Memory, when Mekakushi first encounter Hibiya in vol 3, that's what route of the loop?

From the look of things, Route XX occured first, where Shintaro fell into Kagerou Days and loops in Azami's world after he killed Ene and himself.
He then somehow made his way back to the real world and enters Route 1.

In other words, the routes occured in different worlds.

The XX probably means he's been looping for god knows how long in Kagerou Days...

I wonder if they will all go back in to settle things once and for all. If they can even go back again.

Jin shared some interesting info in his interview in Spoon 2Di.

Outer Science is not a song of any particular character, but about what is in the mind of the snake that is plotting all this. We know the said snake is "The Snake that Clears up the Eye" from the album, who is also Kenjirou's snake.

But Kuroha is clearly there during Outer Science....

So I was wondering, could Konoha was designed to be the host for "The Snake that Clears up the Eye" so the snake can take the matter into his own hand?

The snakes all came from Azami, but whether they are independent, we have no info on that.
But, "The Snake that Clears up the Eye" is the very snake who suggested Azami to create the Kagerou Days in the first place.

Dunno if approve or not, Hibiya x Momo is cute but Hiyori is still stuck in Kagerou Days...

And lol, is the infinitely superior quality animation related to the coming anime or what?

Yeah, and it is after this that Hibiya stop calling Momo as obasan.
And if this means more Hibiya in maid outfit, I won't mind more Hibiya x Momo.

Though, I wonder how many have been fooled by this MV to believe that Hibiya is an innocent little boy.
