My first thought when watching the video was "Reboot". Anyone remember that? Now I know I'm being unfair because it's not at that level but it did remind me of that.

Reboot was the first CGI TV cartoon and is 25 years old. And it still looked way better than this.

My take on 2045 is the same as it was the first time I saw a PV - I'm embarrassed for everyone involved.

Watched the first episode today (not like I had anything better to do

) and my muscle memory was twitching for the 'skip cutscene' button, because while I said the still I posted earlier looked a bit videogame, the opening to the episode just looked like a game cutscene.

I'll give it a few episodes to see if the story is any good, but I'm not grabbed.

I also watched the first ep. The graphics didn't bother me as much as I thought they would.

What did bother me:
- Sustainable War. What the hell is that?
- Shouldn't the Tachikoma be Japanese government property? Did Section 9... steal them?
- Togusa's divorce.

Well after watching about 4eps of this it does have the Ghost in the Shell feel but kind of wished that they would have used the CG like of BanG Dream! did it was a lot better
