She's plenty cuckoo in my book and her alignment in the internet's 3X3 diagram will probably state her as chaotic neutral. Which isn't all that nice.

I doubt that... her attention seems to be solely on the IS. It is my belief she sees the rest of the human race as inferior and therefore not worth her time. Well maybe worth her time if they do something to entertain her.

You need humans to pilot the IS. IS related research isn't mutually exclusive to Human research.

Yes it is. That's why when I was discussing future generation IS with Zero, I vaguely considered but never mentioned the possibility of Tabane being stuck on the 4th generation IS, another country like say England is already drafting ideas of 5th generation from the Blue Tears Glas Heart's one off ability. Because the 5th generation and succeeding generations I proposed would be heavily based on the pilot IS connection.

Thus far, Tabane has only shown concern for the IS development and therefore only sees pilots as tools that move her children. The 7th generation IS would be her doing once she realizes what would make for the perfect IS... make it alive and not need a pilot in the first place.

I was more on the idea of fusing or implanting human beings with IS tech as some kind of superior race. This is the basis of the Bad future on Future Imperfect: The clones are made for experimentation and killed off when they don't get the best results. The first Progenitor was Chifuyu, but she killed herself and destroyed her body so it couldn't be used. Ichika's the next progenitor and he died when he tried to escape.

Which mean great deal of human experimentation is involved.

Hence why clones are used. The whole "Human = Clone" debacle still rages on even now and Tabane's clearly on the "Human >Clone" side. Of course, all the more ironic that the protag is a weaponized clone of Ichika.

It goes both ways really. The humans think the clones are copy's and knockoffs that shouldn't be treated equally while the clones think the humans are weak and just obstacles. The story does subvert this by showing Ichika caring for the child clone he escapes with rather than ditch him after he escapes. Vice versa for the CC loving him as a big brother.

Does Ichika know laura likes him?
