Usually I'm all for little to no QTEs in action games, but one of my favorite moments in KH2 is in the PotC world where you "Press triangle to SONIC DIVE"... Like a true Pirate would.
The Samurai Heartless prompt was cool as well. So yeah, I'm of two minds about it.

Btw, the black haired character in the trailer isn't Eraqus, right? As it won't make sense. TerraXehanort was born after Eraqus died. So the guy in the trailer is probably his son(did he have one?). My speculation: a word play on Enix for his name

It's fine to be flashy, but not to the point where the game plays itself for you. |

My 2 cents on reaction commands: they don't have to completely remove them, but some toning down is a must - KH is already considered a button masher and a lot of the reaction commands were activated by...you know it, pushing /_\ as fast as you can!!! They also took away from the game's strategic value, mellowing its difficulty with what was often just a cheap shot for massive damage.

I like the reaction commands in BbS because you had to work to get them.
On an unrelated matter, I noticed though is that the E3 trailer has both the Command Deck and MP Bar yet none changed during the trailer, meaning that the HUD we see is just for cosmetics. I really hope the continue with the Command Deck instead of going back to the MP bars from 1 or 2. |
