Nanoha A's would be perfect if the final battle wasn't so one-sided. Very disappointing after all the previous drama.

GTO I think would be perfect if they at the very least expanded the last arc a bit. I thought it was rushed and a jarring change of tone from the previous arc. Or better yet, just adapt the 2nd half of the manga.

This thread doesn't work, examples:

Example 1:

From the thread of 'Anime X': "Character A was amazing, and Event B was totally unexpected it blew me away, it was truly epic!"

From this thread: " Anime X would have been perfect if Character A never existed in the first place and Event B never took place.

Example 2:

Pokemon would have been perfect if Pokemon were Digimon.

Gundam would have been perfect if there were no mecha battles.

Macross would have been perfect if they didn't sing Jpop or anime songs.

It's more a take on personal opinion not an analysis. If someone says "it would have been perfect if... blah blah blah" it doesn't mean it would be perfect for everybody or if that's the only way people look at it. I think this thread works just fine.

It seems much more constructive and intresting then fanboy/fangirl ramblings.

The great thing about the word "if" is that it presents the preceding and succeeding statements with complete theoretical freedom, meaning as long as you say "if", ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN

"If Nevelle Chamberland wasn't sympathetic to Adolph Hitler..."
"What if my mom never met my dad..."
"The world would be better if I were God..."

This thread is far from changing history, you know...

I think all we're really doing is just pointing out minor complaints in shows that we otherwise like. I think it's more a constructive criticism session than a speculative "what if" session.

I know that Elfen Lied ended with the Mariko arc because that is where the manga was at when it was made, but it would have been perfect if it had followed the manga version instead of diverging greatly from it. The manga version made a perfect ending point.

Age: 40	CG would've been pefect if: Spoiler for CG spoilers: 1.No reset at the start of R2. 2.Less Ashford EP's in R2. 3.They didn't bother with float units and kept the mechs grounded. 4.People who died stayed dead. 5.Didn't introduce so many new characters in R2 just so they could(looks at Monica and Dorethea). 6.More members of the OotBk died. Mainly, but not limited to Ougi, Todou, Asahina and Miniami. Actually anyone who pointed a gun at Zero in EP 19.

The manga version made a perfect ending point. Spoiler: Kakuzawa explodes a rocket with the vector virus over the city as part of his plan to spread it all over the world. Lucy's horns are blown off when Mariko explodes and Kurama tells Nana that with the horns gone Lucy is dead. All that is left is a shell, Nyu. Nana takes Nyu back to Kouta and they return to the Maple Inn. Kurama takes his gun, puts it under his chin, and pulls the trigger. If they wanted to leave with some suspense they could show the start of the next arc, six months later, with Nyu, talking and acting like an adult, cooking breakfast and calling everyone to eat and show a closeup of her horns starting to grow back.
