One thing I really liked about how they're handling the action in the series so far, especially in ep15:

Ao is still not good enough a pilot to evade a full missile/laser circus. He has been improving as the series progresses, but he only managed to really pull if off decently when Eureka was in the cockpit in ep14. When he's alone in ep15, he fails again. But I love the subtle touches in the animation like Nirvash jumping from the board to get more lift, and also how he basically flips and blocks with the board at the end. It appears Ao still needs a bit more synchronization with Nirvash before he is up to Renton's level in E7.

Can't wait for the next episode.... in.... 3 weeks. Wtf.

The Secret says they are protectors of this universe but they do not know who created them. Only they will go at any lengths to destroy Quartz of invadrs from another universe.

Theory: Secrets are talkative yet still dumb Kute class anti-bodies. But where is the Scub they are protecting?

Answer... It is the Earth itself. The Scub are probably in a state of hibernation. It is the opposit of what happened in E7 where the Scub coral covers the Earth. It is Earth and humanity that cover the Scub. Humanity and Secrets were created from the memories the Scub has absorbed.

The coral that took Naru to Nirvash in the previous episode is a foreshadowing to it.

i havent watched this in a while, but can i ask one question.

I find it funny that Fleur and Gazelle suck at psychology. Fleur accuses Eureka making Ao weird. Probably afraid he'd be taken away from her. Is she in love? More likely she views Ao as family. Gazelle thinks it that Secrets are not supposed to be an enemy.

Both wrong it's because Truth stole childhood friend (girlfriend). Ao has abandonment issues from before now this.

Now Chloe isn't that close yet to Ao but she does show concern. Ao may be a maverick but he does have a problem being alone or a loner when they had their first heart to heart. She tried sneakily to find out what is bothering him. Is it his mother? Is it the Secrets?

I'm not sure if Chloe has a crush on Ao but they the closest in age at Gen Bleu HQ.



Now a theory on how it will go for the plot.

Ao will likely make a sacrifice play that will eliminate the attacking Secrets from this world. This involves the Third Engine. But he will end up in the E7 world meeting his father and the rest of the family. Getting the lowdown on E7 World's situation. Subsequently he will rescue his mother as he saw a damaged Mark I previously.

Now here is the clincher... Ao will return to AO world but will find everything has changed for the worst. Probably a year or more down the timeline. Japan has gone Viking again and using what they learned from the Secrets threaten the world with conquest, led by that Japanese colonel.

Chloe will probably be older and can't be called a little child anymore. They would be amazed that Ao hasn't aged one bit.

Ao's bad dream about Naru was not far from reality at all.
Those medical examinations were a nice cover for inspecting if someone was infected by scub coral.
Ao & sleeping pills. Things are really started to affect him.
Japanese government playing around with Secret.... dangerous.
Re-awakened scub coral sure was bad news for Ao.
Seems like Secrets are getting smarter... and harder to deal with.
Some really interesting information came to light.
Looks like Secrets really are Earth's immune system.

Great episode. Now I am really curious about the true situation of Ao's world. If this is a simulation or alternate reality of the original E7, why is this world rejecting the scub coral?

It will be a painful wait for the next episode.

Am I the only one bothered that the Secret they are communicating with has a humanoid form (it's the one who showed up in ep 14)? The Secret they fought in this episode had the very same form. And Truth... also had the same form, before he somehow became humanoid (probably due to Eureka).

I wonder if this is of some relevance?

Maybe their builders got tired of humans beating up the grunts and sent the big boys in to do the job.
