Really admire animator like you since slicing and optimizing sig to a 50kb is so hard when I tried it once...

*ducks and hides from a rampaging bun* I was going to make 2 animated icons of Agemaki but I ran out of time, so he wasn't on the list. Plus, I was only working with the very first episode and there weren't many good scenes of him to iconize there.

*makes a note to include at least one of Bun-bun's bishie in her post or lose the rest of her nine lives* >_<

I'm trying to experiment more with animation but it takes so long for each one. I have several more complex ideas in my head but I'm going to need time to make those...so they're being delayed at the moment. always happy to make you one btw, where is the other one I made you? I usually try to keep requested animated sigs close to the original as possible. Unlike sig designs, it's hard to tell what other stuff people would want changed.

...when I have time...I want to do a whack-a-mole themed sig... (don't know if it's possible though *kicks the 50 kb limit*)

The signature was sliced into 2 parts, the one on the right is 9k.

Are you refering to the most recent version? If so, then actually, if you look carefully at the teeths of the wheels, it is a smooth animation but it's the shadows on the wheels that are not smooth and therefore gives the illusion of a jerky motion (sat and analyzed the darn sig for 10 minutes because that "jerky motion" did bother me ). I could have tried to edit the shadows but that would add on more to the filesize.

I think this has been my most ambitious project yet. When I saw this picture of Shana, I knew I just have to try animating those butterflies. Well, I made myself a new sig and banner out of it.

My new sig:




I even tried putting together both transparency and animation in this sig. I can't believe I managed to get it under 50 kb without compromising too much. I intentionally left the render slightly blurry because it gives a more realistic feel of a picture on canvas (at least I think so but most of the time, my judgement is wrong. )

Argh, animating those butterflies are a pain in the rear, especially when the butterflies are actually a part of the original picture...(all the cuts and transformations...gaaahh...I thought my fingers were going to die from clicking the mouse button...OTL). And then I had just the most terrible time trying to create some kind of background/design to go with this render for both the sig and the banner. I nearly gave up. In the end, I managed something but I don't know... :S
