Which is weird, as the Soul of Gold's writers seem interested on giving old fans many callbacks, like Aldebaran's 'humiliation" and now how the Cancer's cloth left Deathmask right before his death. Maybe they're paying more attention to the classic series than the 2000's ovas. Still, having Kanon somehow finding his way to obtain a new identity and pose as a God Warrior sounds too fanficy and convoluted. Not to mention we already have Camus and apparently Shura covering that angle. Also, resurrecting Kanon (who wasn't present when they brought down the wall) would raise new questions, like "why not Shion, too?". |

Shion was alive until recently, like Dohko. And by that logic, Kanon took no part and wasn't a Gold Saint anymore when they took down the wall either, like Shion.
If they could bring back two Gemini, even one who just briefly covered for his brother, then why not two Aries? All bets would be off, as the story is supposed to be about the 12 Gold Saints who destroyed the wall and vanished. Last edited by Goty; 2015-05-24 at 15:01. |

You see, unlike Saga/Kanon, Aspros/Defteros and Cain/Abel, Shion and Mu aren't parallel existences. And unlike Dohko, that has always been the Libra Saint, Mu succeeded Shion as the Aries Saint.
The Gemini are exceptions, and we already saw a similar theme with Bado and Shido in the classic Asgard saga. Trust me, that mysterious guy is Kanon because that's how cliche Saint Seiya is.

Another good episode in terms of character an plot. the Aioria/Shura dynamic has not been actually explored outside of Episode G and they answer the question of how the Gold Cloths were going to reach God level.
However, the animation actually reached a point lower than episode 2's. |

Technically, all the Gold Saints are still dead. They are Einherjar, so they're essentially zombies walking around Asgard.
But yeah, Andreas is obviously going to put Milo along with Aphrodite in his own Gold Saint display shelf, but they will be freed/brake out in time for the final fight, that was evident when Aprho was "killed" before awaking his God Cloth. |
