Yeah, definitely factor in everything. If you want to seek other quotes though, now is definitely the time to do it. A lot of the good commissioners are starting to get booked up for the 2010 con season!

I bought a pair of socks like these for my Maria cosplay. You could find them on ebay, just look for lolita socks and they should show up.

I had been thinking how I could make a Sakutarou wig, since my boyfriend keeps telling me he wants to cosplay Sakutarou..and what I came up with is that you could probably buy two separate wigs, a blonde one and an orange one and sew the orange one to the blonde one. Though I'm not sure if it'd work, it's just an idea. =)

I would love to see you cosplay either 556 or 410. =D By the way I love your cosplays so much every time I see a new one <3 I'm gonna get witch Maria finished for Katsu also. I have a question... I'm cosplaying s Ange to this one con, and they have a Character Portrayal competition thing, but I don't know how I'd portray Ange... -_-'

How do you think I should portray her?

um I am planning to cosplay kanon and I was wondering what some of the things he's wearing are called.

-name of the thing he wears on his neck with the jewel on it
-name of his hat. (i think it's a berret but i want to be sure)
-name of the thing he wears over the dress shirt with the one winged eagle. (i think it's called a petticoat but not very sure)

Whatever you do, please do not go the brocon route. Ange is not a brocon - she misses Battler, but she is in no way in love with him. If anything there's probably a better case of her being a siscon for Maria, but even then do not portray her in either of those two ways.

Ange as a character is strong and resolute, although is vulnerable on the inside. She obviously tries to mask her pain, but in no way asks to be pitied for the incidents.

In the end it's your choice, but just take my warning - I hate when people look at her as a brocon because she is definietly not one.

Beret is right, yeah. I think the neck thing is.. uh.. an ascot? And I'm not sure about the shirt, petticoat sounds right (I do know that whatever it is, it has twin-tails).

If I were to portray Ange I would focus on her inner strength and determination. It was not a Brocon that stood on Rokijima and stared down death...

I was surprised with how many people showed up for the photoshoots, especially the ACP one.

It was a lot of fun.

Hello I may have met some of you guys at Katsucon. You guys all have great cosplays and i hope to see you guys at other cons in the future. Wau, so many great cosplays at Katsucon!! It looks like a really nice environment, too!

Someone may have asked this already, but is anyone going to Fanimecon this year in Umineko garb? Evatrice is burning a huge hole in my closet. ^^
