Sai's VA actually returned and narrated "Gundam Seed Destiny Plus", the first recap episode of the series... So its not like he's busy or on vacation or something (ie Sayla Mass in Zeta), the creative team just didn't want him back, probably because it doesn't make sense for him to be.

I was wondering. Would it really make a difference if they replace Miriallia with Sai? Take Sai as the photographer and return to the archangel instead of Miriallia. Sai would fit perfectly + they can exclude Miriallia.

Miriallia had a link with Deaka, even though she supposedly dumped him off-screen. Thus she had sufficient reason to reappear with Lacus & co if only to tie up the lose end.

Further, it is a tradition that only a female bridge crew can send off a main-character pilot to battle. That's why Lacus (the only non-captain female at the time) was filling the seat in Archangel until Miri got her old job back.

i want a plo that involves no romance at all.
or at least the very least possible.
i want to see CCA with most character dying to put a final term to the weak universe seeed was. at least having those character in a "heroic" way would redeeme them a little, and have them being remember as character that struggle and died for something rather than being remember as those plot hole godmode character.

As chibi-Lelouch and chibi-C.C. drink away their sorrows at finally getting trumped by Kira and Lacus, the sovereign king and queen of the Japanese character poll.

I guess it's true, a contender for new reigning champ may last for a little bit but as soon as their show ends it always goes back to Kira and Lacus. I bet Japan's this close to putting them on money or something like France did with Laetitia Casta.

I really do like Lacus and Kira, but there is no reason why Lulu can't match them.

Oh, I have no doubt that Lelouch will be up there for the duration. He seems to have become the new Kira in fangirls' eyes. Whether he and C.C can successfully dethrone Mr. and Mrs. Yamato and stay there...that, we'll have to see.

Regardless of who becomes no. 1, both characters will probably top the character polls for a LONG TIME coming.

EDIT: And yes Ila, chibi-SEED characters own people's souls. Chibi Lacus is a creation of win and awesome.

IMO depending on how 00 fares, we either get a Seed follow-up or a 00 follow-up in 2009. If 00 is a total disaster and Seed's popularity remains high during the show's broadcast (similar to how it was with Wing and X), then a Seed series might get made... If 00 is even remotely successful, it'll be a 00 sequel. I highly doubt both will be made at the same time, and I doubt they will air different series consecutively either (they learned their lesson with X)

Well I *highly* doubt those trashbag gundams and craptacular looking characters are going to displace the pink goddess anytime soon .

Face it...Amuro, Heero, Char...they're all washed up. Out with them, in with God Kira and Goddess Lacus.
