They're not normal humans. Not demons nor gods, but super humans with hotblooded will to fight evil.

are teh super robots losing to real robots? Everyone knows gundam, but no one knows about mazinger and grendizer etc, i mean wow.

Btw I never watched gundam but I watched full metal panic, tis my only real robot show.

But I really don't want to watch any more real ones because I just don't care how technologically feasible these robots are. I just want to see giant robots raping each other.

Actually people probably know Mazinger more than Gundam.
Oh and finally founded this on Google Map, the store is called Mazinger Z but I think its a restaurant. This shows that Mazinger is still remembered and is still well known among people.

Ep 5 made me laugh out loud on some occasions. Most remakes usually don't splice old footage then flash it into a new one so blatantly obvious.

The scenes from ep. 5 look like they are from the same series. Please explain.

You are aware that the DVD version, with added scenes and dialogue, goes live on webstream shortly after TV airing, right?

Just watched ep 4-5 back to back. Some 'Quality' moments, but the sheer awesomeness of the combat, and Kouji going at it made up for it.

haha, I see. Crappy webcast makes it look like something straight out of the 80's. The grain, the lousy watered-down coloring and all.

Just watched ep6.

My God, what have they done to Koushiryoku Beam!?! That supposed secondary weapon is now comparable in power to a Buster Rifle shot from Wing Gundam. It's pure insanity!

I'm sorry, but I am feeling damn high now. I come from the era where the Koushiryoku Beam was nothing more than an average weapon that Kouji used to damage Kikaijus, not destroy them outright. To witness this kind of power.... I can't wait to see what other surprises are in store! Who knows? Maybe the Missile Punch now has the power of a small nuke!

Hello, I uploaded the opening on dailymotion.

http://www.dailymotion.com/SantaBla/video/15553288

Couldn't upload it on stupid youtube because of some goddamn copyright claim by Bandai.

I love how they've made the once secondary weapon, the Koushiryoku Beam to be the strongest attack. That's quite the surprise.

Also this line was pretty damn epic, "Her finger, Beautiful in the manner of steal, pointed towards the heavens!"

I love that frigging opening, at first I didn't like it that much, but after listening to it for some time, it reall grew on me.

I still miss the old mazinger opening though.
