Action SF anime spaceships/Mecha/ or gun fights

Hi i would like recommendations for SF anime that has Mecha or fights between space ships, or i guess even gunfights go nicely, but those are the main things i'm searching for.

Thank you yet again in advance and sorry for yet another thread.

Edit: here is a link to my animelist that way its easier not to miss it: http://myanimelist.net/animelist/Strike105X

Seen them all except for:

Jormungand S2 (already was planing on watching this soon)
Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse (I plan to leave this sort of for last, since i'm a big Muv-Luv fan and i expect it to be good)
Super Robot Wars OG The Inspector (i was also planing on watching this soon).
Gurren Lagann is on my list of reserved shows in case i ran out, maybe it is time to break glass .

Most of the anime listed in that Super Robot Wars guide have exactly what you are looking for; I have seen most of them myself.

Girls with blasters ? Do you mean it as a mean to describe Nanoha or is it some type of anime show ? I already seen all Nanoha related, can't wait for Nanoha the movie second though.

I didn't see Noein on your list. There the battle is between "dimensions" and the combatants use weird energy weapons. Here's a sample from episode 12 that takes place in the docks of Hakodate, a port city in Hokkaido where the story is set.

I really dislike the linked dub, but there is no legally-distributed subtitled stream. You can buy the DVDs for not very much, though.
