I still wonder how the censoring is going to go... The PV has Shino saying *beep* out loud, but surely that won't happen in the actual anime, un.

Still, while reading the manga, I wondered... Has censoring gotten stronger these years? In Imouto, words like Fist Fu*k and stuff were all said without censoring, but in Seitoukai, the words are censored. But "censors have gotten stronger" wouldn't make sense because of the existence of anime like Seikon no Qwaser and etc. <--Random thought though

I didn't know the manga was also censored. The reason might be that Imouto was published in a seinen magazine, while Seitokai is published in a shonen magazine. As for Seikon no Qwaser... well, it's a totally different matter. I still can't believe the manga managed to get away with showing a loli's private parts.

Looking good so far. Hope Gohands doesn't screw this up. I'm willing to give them a free pass for how Princess Lover turn out since it was their first series and the director first full series as well. Look at how much Silverlink improve after their first work Tayutama which was all over the place, but improved in their 2nd work Baka to test. Plus if Gohands sticks close to how the manga is and doesn't do it's own thing storywise like they did with Princess Lover (the whole who assassinated parent's plot) chances are I'll be good. Hopefully the animation stays good as well and not just for the first two episodes. *crosses fingers*

It's a nice song for the type of show this is, though for an angela song, it's nothing like what I'm used to from them. Catchy as hell, though.

I thought go too. I was a little dissapointed when I found out it was something else.

With that aside I enjoyed the first episode and I found it funny that the male lead is not the biggest pervert in the show.

Each of them has a fairly unique vocal cadence that, after so many shows, I'd pick up on. Both the OP and ED are catchy and while the OP is more vibrant, both set the tone for the show. Stylistically, I'm reminded a lot of what I saw in Mitsudomoe yesterday. Obvious CGI in many spots, but it does look fairly cool and not too jarring, plus of course, the perverted sense of humor. Fourth wall gags like how the show "ended", with the TV turning off signaling the end of the episode itself, were also nice touches. Comedy at the forefront of a show is something I can always get behind.

The GoHands animation style works. OP and ED are both highly enjoyable. Hikasa Youko proves she has something special as a comic actress, and her performance as Mio (and Hattori Junko) was no fluke. Yahagi Sayuri is good, and so is Satou Satomi. Anyways, it was a great first episode. Hata-san's voice... It ended up matching a lot less than I expected, but well, it's Hata-san. I think a more deeper and calm voice would be better, not JUDGEMENT DESUNO. Not much dissatisfaction for the other characters. Takatoshi's voice tends to be hard to hear though, when he tsukkomis the characters in a calm (quiet?) voice. I feel that as a 4-koma anime, I have seen better tempo, but this is satisfactory enough. Kind of slow at the start, but the tempo balanced out before the end. Not surprised, but an horrible amount of censoring. I didn't mind it too much, I guess. OP was absolutely lovely. The animation in the ED is too unrelated to SYD, but the song itself is good. You know... I probably don't even need to use a tag, since I didn't really spoil any episode content...
