It's waiting for the mistake that causes the goal, Dutch were nearly there.

Giovanni scores three minutes after second time began.

Netherlands 0 - 1 Mexico.

Memphis Depay on
Paul Verhaegh off

C'mon Memphis!

edit: Why is Sneijder not coming off? He has been gash since Day 1.

You know Mexico scoring in the 48th minute was probably the worst thing that could have happened to them.

That Portuguese referee's an absolute tool. Another blown penalty call.

I can give the first one to the defender, but not the second for sticking his leg out.

And all of a sudden it's a good game

EDIT: Will Ochoa have yet another god game to shut Holland out?

Nah the ball was too far ahead so Robben let himself fall over his leg hoping to get a penalty. At least that's how I see it.

The invisible man comes up big when Holland needs him. That's a blow for Mexico, but Holland earned it - they've been pressing hard.

50 Percent of this goal goes to Huntelaar's great assist.

Nice ... I want to see more of this match! Overtime, please!

Danger here for Mexico. Holland pressing hard, and they look scattered.

And as if on cue, Mexico gives Robben his penalty at last.

Third time the lucky charm, poor Mexico 6 minutes away from the quarter-finals and now they're out of the tournament.
