I do agree with the comments. This series always required some suspension of disbelief in order to accept all the things Senku was able to reinvent but going to the Moon is a completely different beast. And this time things can't be settled with a primitive version of modern technology since so far the minimum requirement for sich a voyage is a Saturn V rocket. I'm really curious to see how the author handled this.

Dr. Stone: New World. First Dream

The Science Kingdom can get a breather for a short-term being now that Ibara's threat being petrified, and Senku managed to revive everyone from the crew to all Petrification Islands' inhabitants.

And, yes, I'm just perplexed and aghast as to Why-Mans' motives for leaving the planet deserted after humanity's initial petrification over a 3700 years back.

Dumbfounded, at how Senku unilaterally proclaims he will technologically bring back the space age into the new stone world in order to travel to the Moon where Why-Man lies.

To pull that off it will require more than just resources and locating & tracking down petrified specialists in order to revive them.

They need to reinvent from scratch an entire organized structure, logistics, builders and planners, man work, and not brushing aside that Senku alone and by himself alone making all precise calculations for space travel.
And, let us not forget the resources in order to manufacture the raw materials and processed them to build a potential space shuttle.

Gosh, I mean how they are going to wrap everything up in case the story is intended to conclude in this third season and with just two episodes remaining.

BTW, that Matsukaze guy became an unceremonious character when he spit the beans on where the petrification devices came raining down, and Ginro was demoted to uninteresting character now that his wound healed.

So those raining petrification devices were collected? How does Matsukaze know since he was petrified himself?

A nice hopeful (and colorful) episode, which gives more context to the scope of Senku's next project. Rare to see Suika without her melon helmet. Those things are fitted with lens right?

Good to see Byakuya and young Senku in the flashback, but also sad to think about present (future) Senku and Kohaku thinking about when they will eventually cease to live.

Oh and why the hell is Ginro holding the device and not Kohaku?

I never got Matsukaze. Did civilization rise up to medieval level in exactly the same way as medieval Japan before being partially petrified again, in the years Senku and the others were petrified? Or did petrification occur on a small scale centuries before Senku's birth?

and that's the end of the treasure island arc, the best thing was that they got kirisame.

Wait, the season already ended?

Oh man, so much hype for the alien climax and it's gone.

Its great news to hear they'll be adapting all of the manga (probably), I love seeing complete adaptations. Well, as long as they don't screw up the last season (hopefully).

Figures Senku only gets the device after it runs out of power, but at least it still had just enough to get Tsukasa back up and now we have a new roadmap (3D at that, thanks to Kaseki and Yuzuriha's enthusiasm) to show how big a job this will be. Looking forward to one more season, I'm going to miss this series when its over.

Wait, there is another season? I thought they were gonna spend a couple of episodes to finish everything, but if there is another whole season, I guess they will spend their good sweet time waking everyone up and showing it.

Also, the Tsukasa is there so no one will commit crimes is weird, but I guess I should have stopped asking questions when battery-powered petrification devices that cause convenient immortal petrification became the main plot

Stoked to hear that there's a new season coming up in the future. Stoked to see that Senku and co. are going across the ocean to revive people for his cause. Obviously, you can only persuade (not control) a limited number of people and get them excited and invested in your cause. While Tsukasa is insanely strong, there will be too many people revived who may not share the same ideals and one person cannot stop them all.

I feel like from this point forward, the story will accelerate human history and its agricultural, industrial, and information age developments at a rapid pace in order to catch up to Why-Man. Whether that's within the realm of our viewership believe-ability remains to be seen, as there have been some stretches of possibilities already presented in this current season.

At least there is a plan. Whether it's one that can believably be cleared in sooner than multiple decades I'm not sure. But hey somehow I guess they'll probably manage it in 2 years or so.

Hilarious how that "oh my god" moment with the voice trying to set off the device...actually turns out to be nothing at all. That thing didn't have any charge left in it . Yes, it would have been bad. Since it would have drained the batteries and they couldn't revive Tsukasa then. But it really wasn't all that big a deal in hindsight.

Honestly I'm not sure if it's truly a pressing issue to get up to the moon to face off against Why-Man considering all the devices are destroyed or out of power. But I guess it's better to be safe than sorry.

Honestly this was a good season. Some nice tension and close calls .

All the devices on Treasure Island. Not necessarily all the devices on Earth, or all the devices on the Moon.
