Source? The only thing I've seen mentioned for adding to episodes was that one scene early on with Akeno siphoning Issei's dragon power.

Same here. If as he said 5 minutes each episode. That is freaking huge.

Sounds unreasonable. I mean I see some updates once in a while when it comes to blu ray release versus tv, but never heard of 5 minutes being added every episode before

I think it was stated on the main site that the BD would add 5mins to each episode. Not sure though.

I thought that was only for 1 extra scene in ep 1 .
If it true they that they adding 5mins for every ep that would be huge IMO.

I'm only parroting what i heard from n0m@n (the ln translator) and as he can read japanese and i can't he's the one who you should ask for more info, i just remember awile back that he said that each episode will have 5 extra minuits of content that was removed (ie removed or shortened scenes).

Yeah, each episode will be extended by 5 minutes.
Apparently for the Director's cut edition of episode 12 include the scene,

See guys no biggie. Once the Blu-Ray comes out we'll be able to see everything that was cut out. So I'll hold my final judgement until then.

Well, from an anime viewer only I thought the episode was pretty good, It did feel a bit rushed though during some scenes. No idea how good/bad it was in comparison to the light novels so i'll read some comments to determine that

Good on Issei for saving the oppai! Koneko couldn't afford the loss

Well I give this ep a 9/10. The only thing I didn't like and which I hope they fix in the Blu-Ray is that they seemed to tone down Rias jealousy quit a bit. And that a big important part of her character at this point in time. Hopefully the Blu-Ray goes more into this. Other then that loved the anime but dang now I need to find something else to look foreword to now on Sundays. Lol

I sorry they had to cut Azazel talking to Issei about women since i found that part funny .
Over all i enjoy this season now it's time to wait for the BD to see what they going to add and i hope we get a season 3 .

Issei's power level goes over 9000 at the thought of Rias's boobs shrinking.

I know this is a harem anime, but I just wish Issei will finally realize that he should abandon his quest to become harem king and accept Rias's feelings. I hope a season 3 comes out!

Over all a rushed season. DxD really needs to be two cour on the upcoming arcs or they'll have to delete a lot more content. I still enjoyed it though. 8/10. Oh and I still think 3-5 mins of scenes still wont cut it. It just might be my prejudiced critique due to being an LN reader first. Cheers to DxD. Now I need that 3rd season. Issei curbstomping a certain really annoying demon family heir and Juggernaut Drive... You know you want some...

give battle going & gasper had enough using his power de-time freeze akeno, asia, & rest give help with azazel finish off dark female even chopping his own arm to finish her.

yet turned out it all was vali's doing cause he want challenges, also in the khaos group faction & yea he also have same blood in line of lucifer give make him part demon as well.

so give trying anger issei i'm going slay your parents & friends cue issei going iron man suit mode attack on vali give going sword combine yet did bit damage get his gear loose.

then azazel boost issei more that if vali win all the doobi's size will shrink cue issei combine vali's gear into issei top make punches overload for the DOOBI!!!

with all yet it got stop til meet bikou a descendant of son goku to pick-up vail cause they got other works to do cue vali we will meet again issei.

all that done well 3 faction make peace also issei talk michael to have light code get fix to allow asia & xeno to pray give irina also sorry to them.

with that give azazel is now their teacher with having to boost their gear power while also have a robot arm as well & top it all the entire female members of rias' group are now living same house with issei.

(now that all set with wait for s2 Funi dub on it & let to road s3 begins).

They rushed the battle a little bit, and changed a few things, but since they still remembered to have the key points of the fight, I can't reduce to much points for that.

Not to mention, even with it being rushed, I still enjoyed the episode ... and the BD is hopefully going to add some of the missing content, so overall I would say that the last episode, and the overall season has been a pretty good adaptation of the novels.
