Episode 1:
Catchy OP song but it wasn't too special imo. They introduced the main girls and established some of the studying themes. The conversations were kinda witty and I think the character reactions were a bit pushed on some parts lol. Thanks Fumino. Rizu is also kinda cute in this episode and more intimidating than Fumino. First episode is okay, kinda average honestly but I'll stick around for more.

This comes right after Toubun and to be honest while both are equally cliche and predictable, toubun at least gives something to think about sometimes while this one doesn't. Bokuben is a hard pass for me, not willing to waste time on discount nisekoi.

Well not a bad or too much rushed first episode. The expression are there so that's good. Although Yuiga lost some of his "give me a break" attitude in the adaptation.
Also this is way way better than Nisekoi even in the first episode. No annoying tsundere or key/lock anywhere. |

^^Yep she is.
Anyway first episode felt rushed(?). Irc in manga these dreams revelation were bit more somber. Here it was quickly glossed as plot excuse. Well at least we get both real heroines introduced earlier even if it were just cameos and with sub-heroines back stories covered like thatthey can get proper focus.

You are free dislike and/or not watch whatever you want, but there are limits how far to go. Comparing BokuBen to Nisekoi is pretty bad taste and implying it's inferior version of it is blatantly wrong.
It's certainly something you shouldn't say on first episode of any show least.
