Yes, but as time goes the group not really strict to its OG members, loosened into "group of six lead by Octavius to defeat Spider-Man".

PS4 Spider-Man for example, the members are: Rhino, Scorpion, Vulture, Electro, Mr. Negative and Octavius.
Often they did not include Mysterio and Kraven, both OG members, as former is good enough to be a stand-alone villain while latter not in favor compare to other potential Spider-Man "hunter" such as Taskmaster (in PS4 and Avenger Animated Series), who clearly have better reputation.

I'm also thinking the last member will be a villain never seen on the big screen before. The problem with that is that the movie is so packed with villains (and likely Spider-men) that it'll be hard to properly introduce a new villain. Maybe they're just going to bring Mysterio back, and this time he'll truly be from another universe.

Damn it, I totally missed out on Shang-chi Ten Rings movie on theaters.
I watched Eternals though.

I'm looking forward to seeing all these heroes togather again in one movie.

Its not like their name miles better in comparison to him.

Deadpool should be left where he is. He wouldn't fit in the PG-13 MCU.

I haven't watched the movie but goddamn, the amount of leak/spoiler videos from people's theater-recording footage is just flooding my youtube page every time I opened it XD.

There's even a leak of the upcoming Dr. Strange 2 trailer.

Just got back from the theater. I don't remember the last time I went to watch a movie on opening day, but it was totally worth it.

The movie is really great on its own. Good balance between drama, comedy, and action. However, when you factor in all the fanservice (and there is a lot of it), it's every Spider-man fans sticky dreams come true.

Spoiler for MAJOR SPOILERS:

Matt Murdock (still played by Charlie Cox) was Peter's lawyer as everyone excepted, he only has about two minutes of screen-time though. The whole Mysterio framing Peter plot gets solved very quickly and it's pretty hazy why exactly they didn't have a good case against Peter. They never make it to the trial.

Really nice to see all the previous villains back. Willem Dafoe totally killed it as Green Goblin once again. The switch from good "bit of a scientist myself" (yep, he said it again

) Norman to evil Goblin is amazing. He's far from being the most powerful villain, in fact, I'd say he's the weakest of the roster, but he's the one who leaves the most impact on Tom's Peter since... he kills Aunt May. They actually had the balls to kill her. She says the famous great power line right before she passes away. Very emotional scene, but I think I could have done without her cracking a joke about her butt hurting a minute before.

And alright, I'm getting to it: Andrew and Tobey are in the movie! Andrew shows up first and there was so much cheering I heard absolutely nothing he said upon his introduction. My understanding is that he and Tobey entered the MCU at the same time as the villains and couldn't find Tom to help him before Ned found them instead. Less cheering when Tobey showed up right after, but it was probably because the audience was 95% teenagers since I went to see it in the afternoon. To them, Andrew must be their childhood Spider-man.

They totally nailed the interactions between the three Spider-men. We don't get to know much about how they're doing since their movies ended, but Tobey says his relationship with MJ is complicated but it's working and Andrew is still alone with no time for a private life. He's clearly still hurting from Gwen's death, and he gets to find some solace by saving MJ (whose real name is Michelle Jones WATSON, by the way).

The jokes were hilarious. Tom doesn't get to participate as much as the other two since he's still hurting from May's death, but Tobey and Andrew's Peters were on fire. Andrew fixing Tobey's back (another meme) and Tobey pumping Andrew by repeating he's amazing was too good. And their reactions when Tom says he was part of the Avengers...

Final battle was great. Electro proved to be the most formidable opponent, and it was nice to see Otto come in for the save. All the villains get cured and to prevent more people who know Peter Parker is Spider-man to invade the MCU, Tom decides Strange should erase all memories of Peter Parker's existence from the world. That includes Strange himself. He gets to say his goodbye to Ned and MJ and promises to find them again. How it works is a bit iffy since there should still be some photos or texts of him around and what not, but MJ and Ned clearly have no idea who he is at the end of the movie. He stops himself from introducing himself to MJ when he sees the band-aid on her eyebrow (pretty subtle way of telling us he realizes he put her in danger and doesn't want it to happen again) and he resolves to live a solitary existence. It's a really sad ending. With this, Peter Parker's youth, and his very existence, end. But Spider-man is still alive in the memories of everyone, and he dons a new homemade costume which is basically the OG Spider-man costume.

First post-credit scene is Eddie and Venom deciding they should pay a visit to this Spider-man fella only to get zapped back to their universe at that very moment. However, a tiny piece of Venom gets left behind...

The second one is the Dr. Strange 2 trailer. Poor dude is apparently being entirely blamed for the giant mess he and Peter caused in this movie since no one remembers Peter. "Evil" Strange from What If? makes an appearance.

I could go on for hours but I'll stop here. Feel free to ask questions if you want. I personally think this is a movie every Spider-man fan is going to love, unless they really hate Tom's Spider-man.

Spoiler for Spoilers: I've only watched the Amazing Spider-man movie once at the time of their release and they didn't leave much of an impact on me. However, seeing all three Spider-men together in this movie made it clear to me Andrew Garfield is a cut above the rest. It made me want to revisit his films. I see a lot of people hoping the great reception he's getting means we'll finally get a continuation to the Amazing Spider-man movies, or more realistically, that he'll be the Spider-man in Sony's Cinematic Spider-verse and show up in a future Venom (or other) film. __________________
