I couldn't make in time, I got myself a cheap microphone today but I hadn't any spare time to record anything at all, plus I'm still coughing a bit as I have not 100% recovered from flu.
Oh well, amen. I hope the next contest won't be one year later, and to be a little less unfortunate with health+equipment issues. Still looking forward to hear everyone else's entries. |

Yo! Finally got my entries and non-entries in. Thanks to kcl for the extension. Winter colds are sure fun.
I won't be able to make it for the ending half (probably) of the broadcast. Let's just say I'm learning how to exercise. And maybe the non-competing broadcast too. 5 am is a bit too early for me these days. We'll see. |

[Sorry for the double post... but kcl822 made me do it! j/k ]
Instructions for connecting to IRC To participate in the chat during the live broadcast, you will need to log on to the #animesuki channel on IRC. We use synIRC. Fortunately, the good folks there already provide a useful page on how you can connect to IRC. http://www.synirc.net/chat/ For Windows, the most popular IRC program is mIRC. However, if you've never used IRC before and/or prefer not to touch unfamiliar programs, the page also lists a browser-based method of connecting to IRC: synIRC CGI:IRC. If you choose to use synIRC CGI:IRC, just type in a nickname for yourself and "#animesuki" (type the '#' too). Then click "Login". It's that simple. |

Should be ok, kinda curious to see this how this little section of Asuki plays out Quote:
Too lazy to to add another server to my settings so this works quite nicely as an easy web based IRC program ^^

Sounds like a bug I'd love to find out why, but otherwise, aside from refreshing it every song, VLC seems to be a wee bit touch and go. MPC (for some reason), sped it up , alvin and the chipmunks style (buffering it was not) But for others, it'll probably be no problem edit: realplayer, works fine, labelled tunes and everything. But non-competiting entries are done, so I say 'night night' and 'good luck' to the competitors Thanks for hosting your sleepy self on air, KCL

EDIT: People had problems with stream stopping with MPC or VLC during non-competing entry broadcast. Alternate music players that don't have this problem: Winamp Foobar2000 Last edited by Cz; 2009-12-12 at 09:47. |
