(N) Dungeon Meshi (Delicious in Dungeon)

This actually isn't awful. Not worth watching with the token heroine made to look panicky, helpless and ignorant; hobby show doesn't work when the details of fantasy cookery can be whatever you please, and there is a more serious situation going on. I don't like cooking at all, but Isakai Izakaya and Restaurant to Another World were much better for their focus on food and character reactions to it. This is still a competent story that doesn't have the fatal problems of some of the other stuff out there.

kabru is the kind of guy who likes to see other people suffer and see the world burn.

while is understandable that shuro is mad, we all know he would've done the same in that instant if he could. That's why laios knows that he won't say anything about it.

now, kabru is another story.

a lot of mixed feelings about this chapter. Like I agree with shuro on not liking laious attitude about everything, even I can't stand him most times. It is the best for him to leave, in the end he just gave up and didn't have the conviction like laious to save falin.

now, the main objective now is to beat the lunatic magician since that's the only way to save falin.

I wasn't expecting such a bloodbath. Falin almost wiped them out.

The goal of Laois' group has been to go back to the surface those past few episodes yet they chose to remain behind. I know they now intend to kill the dungeon master, but they're still in as bad a shape as they were before and they really stand no chance against the evil mage on their own. What changed?

The series sure keeps getting darker more and more despite the new opening. The animation really made those stabs look really painful.

The fist fights during revival rituals shows the conflict of different ideology. Maybe the monster eating party has changed and they are not aware of it. The manga artist is said to be the Baldur's Gate player. By using Baldur's Gate scenario, the party is becoming chaotic neutral, perhaps. When the player of Baldur's Gate goes rogue, some party members would leave the party in disgust.

Nobody is going to mention how Kabru's fighting style points out that his character class is most likely Assasin, you know, the ones that must have "evil" somewhere in their alignment.

Two things:
- They were able to bum healing (and maybe supplies) from the other groups.
- They urgently needed to give those groups a reason not to have them arrested and jailed for life on the charge of black magic.

as the watcher isn't that hard to know who were the fakes. I did have my doubts with chilchuck, with him sitting in the box I was 60-40 but what made it obvious was when the fake asked for help.

marcille was easy and senshi no need to ask.

The fake Chilchuck looked pretty moe, it was obvious as well. The fun part was trying to guess which party member's perception created which fake. Thanks for posting answer, Huh...?

I got all the Marcilles right, made some mistakes on the others. The moe Chilcucks were the hardest to guess since either could be Marcille or Senshi's.

I don't know if I'm correct, I just threw a guess because of something that was said about Asebi's personality.
P.S. When I think about it I don't know if it bothers me that there isn't romance in this series (Delicious in Dungeon/Dungeon Meshi) or not.

I wonder what is going to happen with Asebi it doesn't seem like she going to join Touden Laios's group (and she doesn't have any kind of relationship with Touden Falin or a real reason to help save her) but it does seem like she is going to stay with them for while assumed that she will accept what they have to say to her and not try to kill them.

By the way, it could be only but I didn't see Asebi appear in the opening (opening 2. of Delicious in Dungeon/Dungeon Meshi).
