Nisekoi ranked 17th on Oricon today (Witch Craft Works is on 12th place). Neptunia and Strike The Blood are above it. If we think about neptunia and StB sales that were around 3k copies, I think it is safe to say that Nisekoi might be a flop, selling only 2,000 copies.

I think it is also safe to say there will be no second season if the producers will use the bluray/dvd profits only to fund the next season and not include manga profits. Plus the Nisekoi guidebook says that Shinbo/SHAFT are satisfied with the 20 episodes.

Considering 90% of the show is trivial, I wouldn't hold that against it. It's is a favourite of mine as well, though my favourite might be happy Raku in Onodera's secret place.

The story is progressing at a nice pace thanks to Shaft cutting out the chapters that aren't related to the main plot. This created a little inconsistency this time though, I wonder if anime only viewers noticed.

Really enjoyed this episode, very nice scene with Onodera and Raku as well as some funny moments at the birthday party. Looks like the plot is finally moving along a bit xD Can't wait for the next episode to hear Raku's response!

I have to say I've really taken a liking to this series. Probably became my favorite series of this season along with Tokyo Ravens. The lighthearted comedy along with the carefree mood makes it relaxing to watch after a long day.

This is only the beginning, I would wait about 2 months to see the sales.

Who knows, once the manga is close to finishing, they would probably do the second season with official closure.

Im not gonna lose faith in the series, once it heads to the U.S I will buy the blurays(only if this gets a dub)

I really enjoy this anime. Its the first twist of its kind for me. But this latest episode seems very quick to reveal many things. Its great but it also gives me a sense that they're going to end it soon... Noooooo!

Yep this episode turns out to be very interesting It shows 3 things.
1. Raku still favors onodera and there's little doubt she's his number 1 despite everything
2. The promise is pretty much the only thing saving chitoge and raku's relationship at this point
3. YKW is coming next episode things will get far more fun.

Soon the manga will actually start the plot again. Nisekoi ranks mid-tier in weekly shounen jump and last week placed 1 above iron knight which was axed last week also.

Shaft is totally nailing this material. I think that I like the anime version slightly better than the manga and definitely like RakuXChitoge even better than in the manga.

fact is the anime pretty much ruins most of the raku chitoge moments that you see in the manga

Mostly by unecessarily prolonging them and adding strange poses though.
Well lets see if the same will happen next week too
