2. A couple of Kagerou class k2 will be introduced in Spring. (Per Tanaka: there will probably be a couple of Kagerou class k2 by the implementation of 2.0)

3. New official KC comic is coming. (At least 2)

4. The new DE are neither etorofu class nor shimushu class.

5. A certain ship participated in Operation Shou-ichi-gou will get a k2.

Oho, there's a couple more interesting points there =O:

1. 夕雲型の改二は艦隊決戦における対艦戦闘能力に重きをおいた改二改装となる予定

The Yuugumo class K2s is planned to have an emphasis on ship-to-ship fighting suitable for Kantai Kessen (*please check translation*)

I guess this means their K2 will be more in line with the old raw power-up + more fun ways to deal critical damage than the utility-focused ones we have in the past year?

2. 陽炎型の改二改装も来春実装開始予定、二期が始まるころには数隻実装されているかも

Kagerou-class K2 scheduled for Spring release and that a good number of them will be here by the time KC moves on to version 2.

Probably higher firepower ad torpedo stats (LOS and evasion probably as well), making them closer to Light Cruiser like the post-treaty destroyer they were. Not a bad thing even if high AWS and AA stats destroyers are always welcome.

First tweet confirming that the DD K2 is a Shiratsuyu girl from DesRon 4, which is pretty much the entire class aside from Ichiban and Shigure (who are in DesRon 1).

The tweet also says that the next CL K2 will be for an old girl who had been active in support and transport missions. Yorokobe, TTK, the Tenryuu-class K2 is finally a reality >=3

Both K2 are scheduled to be out in January.

I am surprised than they would go with a large scale event in winter, I was more expecting one in spring. I already went into resource gathering mode but it look like I will have another destroyer to level up before the start of the event.

I imagine it was deduced from the fact that the upcoming event is essentially the Battle of Leyte Pt. II, which wouldn't make sense as a small-scale event, nor be another medium.

basically the article says two things:

So we will get Murasame and Tatsuda Kai Ni, next we will have to see what the requirement will be and the added quest. Who know, I am surprised than the 12.7cm Twin High-angle Gun Mount (Late Model) isn't improvable yet given the large number of CL Kai Ni than came with that gun and the fit gun bonus extended to CL. Maybe Tatsuda Kai Ni might be the good time for that.
