And since it's boring to read about a Mary Sue who can curbstomp everything easily enough to let no tension build up, they add all kinds of psychological/otherwise weaknesses in order to create something that makes the reader want to continue reading (while still having the warm afterglow of curbstomping everything).

I can't blame them with how, for decades, it was all about shitty shounen going through hardship or psychological weakness for dozen of chapters only to be undermined with deus-ex-power-of-love POWAH on the climax chapter, then training arc, then start all over again whenever new arc begin. It gets really really old, at least OP MC is kind of fresh. You just have to look at the right work (not something where OP MC isn't actually OP at all, or has stupid limitation, and deus ex his way to resolution in the end, SAO-style).

just because he wanted a little bit of power to help out in the activities of the village he got tricked and was turned into a vessel for an evil god. As a result he killed everyone in the village he was trying to help. (the sole reason why he feels he does not have the right to be happy.)

Even if the Sister used her life in exchange for a restraint that would help control the god but that being said his godly powers will leak out when he displays a great amount of emotion/weakness. Which in turn makes him even more gloomy because he might go on a rampage again. As a result he has a fear of making friends or being close to anyone.

On top of that he had a duty in the form of the vigilante Masquerade pushed onto him by someone else. Using that power he goes around threatening and interrogating bad people and to round it all up he's desperate to find a way back to his world.

Ahhh...but on Earth he's probably (almost) invincibru~ There's his modus operandi of flattening/torturing/threatening people only to the extent of not killing them. Yet letting them go if they apologize/atone. (there's no 'bad guys have to die for the sake of resolving the issue or i need resolve to kill people' stuff here)

From the spoilers I've read, the focus of the story seems to be something along the lines of "I'm suffering through life as best I can, even though I have superpowers".

Spoiler for Yes, Yes, No. Arguement:

Yes, he's divinely powerful. Yes, he hasn't hurt anyone when he's been in control of himself. Yes, he's probably saved more lives than he's harmed/taken. No, I do not agree that this those points allow him to just ignore his traumatic events.

Quite honestly, the effects of a "typical" person ("typical" in this case being the local equivalent of what I think a 'White Middle-Class Teenager who is probably be just a background character in movies, tv and video games' is) killing somone could be emotionally devistating. This likelyhood is multiplied by the fact that the people he killed accepted him when everyone else chased him away, probably with weapons, taught them how to speak their language, and all around quickly became like a second family to him.

Okay, sure, the town died because they tried to turn him into an evil god, but by then he had probably been about as emotionally invested in the people of the town as a freshly brainwashed cult member is emotionally invested in their cult. And he only got control of his body back because one of them sacrificed their soul to him. So that can be seen as a minor point, especially when looked through the badly prescribed glasses of emotion.

If you're looking for a story of someone having a realistic (possible) climb from the depths of depression, with some interesting asides such as literally dealing with a world that drastically changed when he wasn't looking, this sounds like story for you. If you're looking for a story about someone who's overpowered and getting on with life no matter what's in their past, you might want to look somewhere else.

There are only small short paragraphs at the start of a few chapters which give a little bit of info on what happened in the village. But no proper full chapter yet. Author hasn't covered the Farandia arc.

The fox that came back with him to Earth is an inhabitant from Farandia while the terrorist girl is a fox-type human from Garest. Apprarently such races live there.

As to why it's called Amaryllis fox is because it looked really similar to the one they have in Garest. (which can level a whole city alone) That's why they're afraid of it and why they can accept that such a weak D ranker could survive in such a dangerous place[assumed] was because it gave him protection.

Hmm...she has blonde hair and blue eyes. Has some connections with the onmyou side of society. Apparently youkai and stuff are considered under the same category as the beasts in Garest. She can use a bow and has a sword called Kamunagi(god punching sword?) and uses ofuda charms as well.

She first met the MC while being half controlled and trying to kill him. After MC saved her she tsukkomi-ed him. Apparently she's the best friend of her sister and was hospitalized due to a training injury for some time which was why he didn't see her before.

He saved her again from a group of evil onmyouji terrorists after she nearly got her arms cut off. But I said possible was because she still hasn't shown any signs of being attracted. Just sighing and tsukkomi-ing him at every nonsensical thing he does.

She did something like someone a manga would do(I forgot what but I think it has got to do with onmyou techniques I think.....) and he commented on it but when he cut apart a laser beam with a sword she shot him back the exact same statement. and lots of other times after seeing him do stuff people don't normally do.....
