BokuBen is usually just your weekly fun/girl of the week shenanigans. It's enjoyable because of this, even if some of the stuff are repetitive.
Meanwhile, 5toubun entered a semi-endgame kind of phase, where each week the supporters either want something for their girl, or if their girl is not going to be the winner, then put her out of her misery already, and let them move on. And then, multiple POV chapters happen to drag the decision out further, with the possible delay still at the end.

Oh Stair-kun, you probably haven't seen a lot of it in these media but is pretty known in soap operas in my country. It loves pregnant women.

Other than a straight fatality, stair kun is good at giving miscarriage and the most overused in teledramas, amnesia
Though doubt moeyuki will go down the amnesia route.
On a side note, it might push uru to stop being a chicken. riz is even beating her to the punch in terms of aggressiveness in recent ch

One of the most common tropes on soap operas involve stairs somehow.
- female character is arguing with somebody near the stairs and trips
- villainess pushes dumb heroine down the stairs
- villainess also trips down the stairs
- old rich character is pushed down the stairs or trips leaving a tasty inheritance
- maid who was like a mother to dumb heroine is pushed down the stairs by petty villain
- in order to fake an inexistent pregnancy villainess "trips" down the stairs to claim a miscarriage happened and blame the dumb heroine's male interest to take responsibility.
I can continue but those are the most used ones.

This was a good chapter.
I feel like there is connection between Chapter 95 with the marathon and this one. Nariyuki caught up to Uruka, even if she already had a lap advantage technically, and how in this one they walk by supporting each other.

I feel it got tad underplayed though, so I am not sure if it's what Tsutsui is trying go for (though I certainly hope so).

WingedAccelerator Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2014	Such a long time I posted spoilers here. Spoiler for Chapter 128: Uruka found Nariyuki, who has an injured leg after the fall. With that, he won't make it to the exam, even if Uruka supports him. Thankfully, Sensei comes in with a clutch car ride in the end. Rizu and Fumino wanted to ditch the exam to look for Nariyuki, but Senpai stopped them, even though she was worried as well. That's when Sensei volunteered that she would handle his case. Supposedly the Exam results will be announced next chapter.
