Agreed. Love the British accent on Bardiche.

One thing I like about the AI weapons is that they each have their own distinctive flavor and/or dialect (such as Vita's weapon speaking German).

I'd like to see that maintained.

Which does nothing to change my amusement that the entirety of 4chan, the same 4chan that claimed Yuuno would be much less hated if he were a girl, the same 4chan that flamed Thoma and called Force a failure for him simply being a guy, is now raging over Bardiche getting turned into a girl.

I'm thinking expecting rationality out of that place is kind of like buying a Yugo and expecting a 5 second zero to 60 time.

Anyway, after watching the trailer and poking around here, I'm a lot more excited than I was. Having stumbled onto the show via the mecha fandom rather than the MG one, the new look seems to be right up my alley.

Considering I saw some screaming "FINALLY A PROTAGONIST WITH A DICK!" and people voicing their complaints about Chrono getting deported with StrikerS... Whatever. 4chan isn't one entity. I don't know why people think that, considering there are constant flamewars over different opinions.

I think that what it might be is that even the 4chan members that don't particularly care if there's virtually no male characters/voices in the entire cast nonetheless liked the Bardiche voice. It's simply a cool voice, gender issues aside.

I think a lot of the rage against Touma is not so much that he's a guy, but that his rather distinctive weapon evokes memories of a certain universally-despised Square-Enix protagonist. ^^;

On topic: Movie looks great so far. New trailer is awesome. I'm still somewhat saddened at the "de-girlyfication" of Nanoha's character design, though. I miss the red bow and Raising Heart's new coloration just doesn't look right. It's not like they can go back and re-edit all the released episodes to reflect RH's new design either.

But the movie budget means the battle scenes look very, very cool, and that's always a plus.

Hey! I liked that game! And he wasn't Emo, just anti-social. Besides, I always got the feeling that he didn't like dealing with the stupidity around him so he kept quiet.

Besides, that weapon was always cool-looking.
