I wonder if Yuri knew what would happen to Kanade if she uses Absorb. But then again, knowing Yuri, she wouldn't have changed the plan even if she knew.

Pretty good ep with lots of action and (finally) some decent comedy again. I thought the suicide thing would've been unbearable, but it actually turned out to be quite funny. By the way TK, nice wriggling.

And now that Kanade has absorbed all those Dark Energies, I wonder if she'll turn evil or something like how her clone did. Speaking of which, this show sure has a severe lack of a permanent antagonist.

EDIT: Next episode's title (and Otonashi's final line) seems to hint that there's more to be told about Otonashi's memory.

i really liked the whole changing of OP and ED, however slight. its totally different from their previous series like clannad and kanon where OP and ED are always the same, totally oblivious to plot.

Poor kanade I hope she is all right.
But the fact that anyone can just come in and change kanade skills anytime they want(if they know the password) seems like a big weakness for her.
If kanade becomes evil again it seems like all that needs to be done is go to her computer and erase all her skills.

Also more epicness from TK as usual.

We also get more yui vs angel close combat scenes which is always nice.

One thing I was wondering is when yui said the book was written in english why not just ask TK for help?

Most probably she didnt ask the others for help is they are still in school, after her scene in the room, the others are in class "studying"....

It really does feel like a good episode when the story doesn't forcibly try to touch you emotionally... Decent comedy too.

Still... I am surprised how useless Yurippe is. Thanks to her, Kanade is absorbing some bad stuff... She doesn't know what the words mean, but randomly plays with dangerous and important programs... Talk about idiotic... (O_O)
Isn't Yurippe the last boss...?

Perhaps he never came back from being launched by Kanade?

How is Yurippe useless? She wasn't expecting that the Tenshi from episode 7 would make copies of herself. And if she hadn't set Absorb, what do you think would have happened with that many crazy Tenshis running around. It's not like Kanade wasn't going to be kidnapped anyway.

Well hopefully she will do something redeemable in the near future ,but it has to be something really dramatic to make up for what she has done to poor kanade.

Except Absorb and the results were pretty coincidental. She was playing with something very crucial without half-knowing what she was doing. Lucky that she got good results.
Other stuff... The part where she sacrifices everyone to get to the end, but this results in Kanade feeling lots of pain when she started absorbing those clones.
Then, her entire treatment of Kanade through the series.

...Well, maybe useless is the wrong word? No good, then? Dame-Yuri, kind of like Dame-Tsuna.

This was a really good episode. The clone menace, clone expressions, TK, the diminishing impact of the sacrifices (they didn't even seem to be trying to pin the clones down), and Yuri defeating the clone....

Yuri didn't know enough about the system to make absorbtion sequential. Even if she did, it would still have been a torrent on Kanade.
