Poor son's gotta work for a decent swimsuit. She's probably the very definition of the hard life. |

I'll try something like an essay this week.
Midonin's The Two iDOLM@STERs Comparison Diary Week Five These two episodes couldn't be more different. Xenoglossia's took place mostly in the rain, and focused on training. iM@S started and mostly took place on a hot day, with the focus being a break from training. The moon continues to be related to both shows, but in different ways. Takane's moon is beautiful away from the city. In Xenoglossia, the moon is both visible during the day and highly dangerous (and continually in the city). Despite this, there is one thing both episodes have in common this week. At the start of Xenoglossia and the end of iM@S, there is a scene where Yukiho and Haruka (or in the case of, iM@S, Yukiho, Haruka and several others) discuss their plans for the future, hoping to go forward together and achieve their dreams. What those dreams are doesn't matter, the spirit of the scene is the same. And in both cases, Iori shoots them down, saying that it's not going to happen that easily. She becomes a little more proactive in this regard in Xenoglossia, since in iM@S it's up to The Producer to push these things forward. The way each show fragments its cast makes trying to correlate them from week to week an interesting mental exercise, but one worth doing. |

The year is 20XX. The themo non nuclear war has melted the ice caps, resulting in the planet turning into an endless desert. In such environment the weak idols of the previous millennium are of no use to the denizens of the vast barren wastes.
But, out of the ashes of Studio 765 pro, arises a new breed of Idol. A fighting Idol. A killing idol. A blood thirsty idol. An Idol with no sense of mercy or compassion. In the year 20XX, this small band of women shall make their way across the wildness. Unleashing a symphony of violence upon the wretched subhuman marauders, bandits and warlords , the likes of which has not been seen since the great war. Soundtrack: Full Modern Strange Cowboy
