Finally read volume 9 and the only thing you really should care about (at least the only thing I do):

Sasayan confesses to Natsume, rather nonchalantly at that too! For now, they're acting pretty normal with each other anyway but now we have to wait for Natsume's response.

Unfortunately, volume 10 seems to be digging into Haru's past so this might be pushed aside for awhile! But my feelings for this volume:

So many things that I didn't expect happened in this chapter. I didn't think that Haru-kun brother would be weak against woman..I thought that his 'dangerous' aura that lead him up to being avoided by the girls.

Then there's also Sasayan confession. I thought he'll keep bottled it up for a couple more chapters but then he outright saying it in that kind of way.

Seriously..sometimes the side pairings are more interesting than the main pairing in shoujo manga.

Guess I'm polar opposite as I don't really care that much for the side pairings. Good characters, but the romance if you want to call it at that at this time between the two doesn't really tickle my fancy over the main pairing...

You should at least read the previous chapter since it also contains some of their moments. Other than that...whelp, there's nothing wrong with that they're one of the reason why I keep reading it.

Well, I decided to read the manga - only thing I'm truly interested in seeing is the development between Natsume and Sasayan. I hoped for something to happen in the anime, but I guess it's the manga you should turn to if you like this pair.

Sasayan's confession wasn't really anything big or romantic (kind of like their relationship, I guess), more like a simple statement. "Yeah, I like you," Natsume's reaction was just priceless.

It seems like, compared to the main couple, Natsume and Sasayan's relationship moves at a slow pace (which makes their love story seem more natural, at least in my opinion). Makes me wonder what the mangaka is planning; will they hook up before the series' end? Or will it only be hinted at?

Micchan said the best love is the one that makes you grow as a person, and I think that's a pretty big blue that Natsume and Sasayan will get together eventually. Sasayan, being the most sociable guy in their group, is constantly pushing Natsume out of her comfort zone. That's the core reason they fight so much (like in this pages) but Natsume needs this as it helps her overcome her man-hating complex and trusting issues.


Anyway, I think Mitty and Haru finally make up in chapter 44, so I hope we'll see some focus on Natsume and Sasayan in chapter 45.

Things are still somewhat uneasy between the two which was witnessed by Yamaken. He slithers in and makes his move at the end of the chapter telling her that he is more compatible than Haru so please try going steady with him once.

Pretty sure that will be the focus for the next chapter...

As for the proposition. I did once like his character, but not anymore. Also had to laugh at his "that isn't called love" like he would know himself. Seems to me he just wants to take advantage of things for his own benefit since he already knows she doesn't like him that way...

Well, haven't seen the raws for chapter 44 yet, but from the summaries I understand that while there was that uneasiness and Yamaken confessed again, by the end of the chapter Haru and Mitty finally really make up and are in a better place than they were before actually. And Mitty cries. For some reason, I really, REALLY want to see that And, looking forward to more development between Sasayan and Natsume. And, damn, were are the raaaaaws?

As Lota explained, chapter 44 resolves this issue, so I expect chapter 45 will go back to Natsume and Sasayan.

Now maybe Yamaken can take his delusions and go away. His inner thoughts which I thought were hilarious previously got to be extremely annoying. Kind of perturbed Shizuku didn't turn him down on the spot, but at least she did....yet again...

Hmm, I dunno about jumping right back into Sasayan and Natsume. When you expect it to happen the author does a switcheroo and goes with something else. She could always go with Haru finally opening up to Shizuku and explaining all about the landmine she unknowingly stepped on that led to their problems...

I was expecting a much longer series, tbh. How is the mangaka going to end this with only four chapters left?

TBH seems to me like a hizzy fit, the author expected the anime to sell better (or at least increase the manga sales) and since it didn't it is better to end it and start another one (hoping that it will be more successful).
