Why is Mikan the only one not getting the same treatment!?

Hopefully when they do the same for Darkness we'll get versions with Nemesis, Mea, Mikado, Tearju, Oshizu, Sephie, Risa and Mio. I guess Ringo would be asking for too much.

Most likely a spinoff, if anything. But fingers crossed for something new and original. I personally think the first series (Not Darkness) was the perfect balance of porn and comedy. If they could tone it back a bit, I would be happy.

I suspect Yabuki will try another thing first, and then if that doesn't work he'll try and revisit To Love Ru.

I'm just glad that we got some resolution that's related to both the title of the series and the initial premise (Yami, and Momo and her Harem Plan). It takes some guts for Momo to admit that the only way she can win over Rito's heart is by belonging to a harem, but I also appreciate Nemesis' constant interventions to at least keep the ripples coming. God knows what happens if the story would try to move forward without Nemesis as a force of plot development.

Overall, by itself, To Love-Ru Darkness isn't that fulfilling. In fact, I think the only road the To Love-Ru series can pursue is through another sequel. But I'd take the better-paced ending over the ending of the original manga. That said, a new sequel might stretch Yabuki and Hasemi's ideas, so I can wait until they get a new concept going. Hopefully, by the time they publish something new, we'd be shocked at how the madmen would try to bend the rules of what's allowed in serializations like this.

I heard from ANN that To Love Ru is not done yet. Hasemi even state that the finale has not even done yet.

This is something to look forward to. I didn't expect so many big names to contribute.

I'm also hoping there will be many new juicy illustrations by Yabuki.

The book comes out on November 2nd by the way. And there'll be a spin-off chapter in the December issue of SQ (to celebrate the ten years of the magazine).

Indeed. Unless Rito became full-time rapist or dog emperor in the next sequel, there is no point to have a new sequel at all.

Nah, he just need to have proper guidance for that. Even his heart if for Sairenji, i think that Lala or others who knew that Rito has to ascend as King of Deviluke need to have him "trained".

Still, i am looking forward to see Rito and Lala in Murata's version.
