Better than in my case where the E2 support fleet damaged the DD hime for 13 and missed everything else.

Switched for better ships for E3 and it was slightly more efficient. I guess once I reach the final E4 battle I'll put in the best ships not engaged directly for this purpose.

E4 cleared. Pre-boss node wasn't as nail biting as Summer E6 where you had to pray that Aircraft carrier Hime lets you pass. Boss node was nasty when I got the twin BWS but passable for the other enemy composition.

Now to start farming for Asagumo in E3 and Hatsukaze in E2.

Asagumo is voiced by Horie Yui? In fact, is there a complete list of the ships and their seiyuus? I know that for the most part they are recorded, but I don't find anything regarding newer ships (e.g. the ships that were added since the Summer Event).

I feel you. That final kill is driving me crazy. Right now at 8 trips for that final one. 6 times reached the boss. Four times the water demon left with 40-70 HPs. 5 of those 6 times Yudachi was knocked out prior to night battle and three of the four times her intervention would have probably be enough. Twice Shigure had the keys to victory, but flubbed it by missing / not getting the cut-in. Started the morning with three kills left and 498 buckets. I'm at 414 right now.

Meanwhile I'm at 11 attempts for the final form now. I have the feeling RNG is trolling me massively. Went into night battle with all six ships in good condition the water demon barely scratched and two escorts that'll go away with a single hit. Yudachi, Jintsu and Vernyi all thought it was a good idea to shell the water demon while Shigure then targeted the escort with a cut-in. Ooi of course can't dish out over 200 damage against the water demon by herself and she survived with 90 HP.

6 or seven tries at getting past the pre-boss knowing that the boss was at her final form.

Three made it past her. Others had Kirishima, Kumano and Souryuu rekt by CV's spoiled takoyaki.

Two of the three boss encounter scratched her. And the final one did it. It didn't well at first, Souryuu was rekt by final boss Takoyaki attack. Kirishima didn't fare better. Thanks god for the support exped shelling that killed two of the small fries.

The efforts of Haruna and Kirishima barely shaved the boss' hp by 1/3. While Kumano, RJ and Akagi focused their power on the two BB escorts.

Cue night battle. KTKM torpedo cut -in ate up half of what's was left from boss'hp. Beaver disappointed me with 0 dmg. And it took Ooi's lesbian love to destroy the Boss.



I hated the pre-boss the most in E4. It felt like trying to jump into a trash compactor.

The Ooi before the scratch damage spree happened because boss decided to rekt KTKM. Ooi, overtaken by Lesbian Rage, wrecked the shit out of the boss in return.

Things I learned from: Expeds are your best friends again. Don't underestimate the Power of Yuri. Especially when it's KTKM x Ooi.

Nowaki and Zuikaku were invisible gets. Those sucks.

No, she definitely can. I had such numbers possible already during Fall 2013 and both CLT were barely around 50 when I started it.

At a lower level, accuracy and every other level related stats are lower than a lvl70-80 ship.

I love you Ooi. And Shigure gets a medal for picking herself up following her two flubs (one of which was failing to hit the water demon at 45 HPs).

13th attempt finally got me through. I didn't really expect it, I must admit. Got my T crossed during daylight and three ships went along with the 340 HP Water Demon into night battle. Kitakami, Jintsu and Yudachi all did their jobs, taking out the three companions. Vernyi brought her down to about 300 and Shigure followed up with a 150 cut-in. Didn't realise the chance to finish the event, however, until Ooi's first shot dealt out 160 and brought the Water Demon to 7 HPs. I went from being mentally prepared to lie down and pick myself up to "HOLY HELL!!!!" in a single hit.

As a bonus I got Asagumo to drop. Although I would have probably prefered 401, as I was prepared to grind E3 for Asagumo anyway.

Started the day three kills away with 498 buckets, 50/78/60/60 and stand at 395/34/64/48/55. By far the most taxing episode. E3 was probably the smoothest. Needed about six tries for the five victories. E2 was a nice going for my second team DDs. E1 slightly more of a hassle due to the first fleet missing everything, while E4 went good until the final form.

Weeeeee!!! Done with E3 and E4...

Was trying to do both in one sitting. So ended up going with all 3 CLT for my second fleets. Was so straightforward that i didn't realise the boss was down to last hp node and didn't send the support fleet at all. For the final run, luck was a bit on my side clearing all mobs during the day and chip 200 hp off the boss. The Carrier Water Demon had to face all green 3 torpedo sisters, 2 DD (Yuudachi and Ayanami), 1 CL (Jintsuu) for night battle with only 200 hp left. Of course things didn't go well for her

But yeah guilty on going with 2 Yamato BB for first fleet. 2 CAV, 2 CV + 3CLt, 1 Cl, 2 DD. I had a feeling that i didn't have air supremacy for last node as the BB didn't do double hit.
