Its equippable on DDs, since they are, as described in the japanese description, mounted on Fletcher-class DDs. The Yukikaze fairy led people to speculate that the US Fairy might be USS Johnston, one of the most famous ships of Taffy 3, the first to lead the charge against Kurita fleet. She, and her crew, earned the respect of the Yukikaze crew who then sailed by and saluted them upon Jonhston's sinking, while Yamato, Nagato and Kongou fired empty salvoes on her honor. (read it somewhere on Booru in one of Sakazaki Freddy's strips comments, from a guy who apparently had access to some of IJN ship captain logs). So, while the Pacific War is still a subject prone to ignite bitter hate (as demonstrated in the reddit of a certain concurrent game), there is still moments where the men who fought let the better of them act good toward their adversaries (like the famous Ikazuchi event).

Ahh, there might be another reason why we have a Yukikaze fairy in the 5" Mk 30 Kai. The 5"/38 caliber gun was part of Tan Yang's refit in 1953 and she might have received the Mk 30 variant.

Tan Yang had open air mounts from what I recall. (I thought that as well and was hoping, but somehow I don't think she had those).

Fairies aren't always relevant.
For instance, we got Noshiro for the 15.2cm kai gun, but there wasn't any Agano class remodel. Likewise, I really doubt Jintsuu's fairy meant that much for Gotland's.

So when is the next mini event usually around?
If their plans of giving us the Fletcher this year hasn't changed it has to be during a mini event and since I still don't have the goat I'm unsure whether I should stop :/

Early Autumn event extended to 10/10. Saury farming to start on the same day after maintenance.

With all the comments I read on the wikia about multiple copies of foreing ships, I don't know where they are going to level all those heavy ship. I did find a good spot to level my Gotland in 5-5 node B, but it wouldn't be a good spot for no-ASW ship. Even if they level those ship only high enough for equipment farming I don't know what strategy they intend to use in this KanColle 2.0 .

Well since Sanma will start in a few days and I have yet to repair 30% of my fleet, the event officially ended for me. I hope ShitGotland enjoys her time with the Abyssals.

About converting the saurry, how many Canned Mackerel you intended to make? I am thinking of converting into 2 Canned Mackerel some, and the rest of the saurry into grilled/screws .

So since I'm done with the Saury, is there any reason to Unlock maps past 5-2, other than medals?
I kinda don't want to waste any resources after having to start over from 0 thanks to Gotland.

To me, 5-5 node B is the best leveling spots for ASW ship.

Edit: Seem a destroyer will be getting a ''Kai-B'' with the next update.

What are your though about Tanikaze Kai D ? A high ASW destroyer is always welcome but when I compare her with her sister Urakaze I feel slightly dissapointed but I can't point out if it's because of her or the meh-reward related to her remodel ?

Kai 1.5 are nothing to write home about to me.

Likewise, to me, they are pretty much a buff + an extra CG. Even then, their stats are fair enough, whereas some other DD weren't exactly saved with their kai ni.

Murakumo and Hatsuharu are the first to came to my mind; Fubuki would be close to that status if not for her AA stat and type 94 AAFD, Shigure and Hatsushimo did lose some of their status as more DD got their second remodel but still keep their role as a torpedo cut-it DD.
