I see there's a lot of confusion about this show's format, so here's some info to clear the fogs.

Blu-ray Vol 1. Kazuha route : Ep 1,2,3,4
Blu-ray Vol 2. Akira Route : Ep 1,2,5,6
Blu-ray Vol 3. Nao Route : Ep 1,7,8,9
Blu-ray Vol 4. Sora Route : Ep 1,7,10,11,12

hence total 17 episodes.

Ep 1 is All charecters common route
Ep 2 is Kazuha/Akira common route
Ep 7 is Nao/Sora common route

Its not gonna reset to episode 2 all the time.

Anyway this is a seinen show and so some double-standards are expected, just like most popular shoujo mangas where most teenage boys and young men often pose topless while the female ones, except if they are smutty romance ones, don't and in fact they even never close to undressing. It depends on the people who watch and read it.

Anyways, so it's really omnibus, eh? Well I don't have a problem with that. In fact, I'd certainly like to have seen it in some harem animes just to see my favorite main heroine get some action.

Sure it does... but certainly not at the pacing established in the first episode. By the time you include all the common path and a few select elements from other paths, you could easily fill 12 episodes. (If this director & writer team can fit a single light novel into 6 episodes (Spice & Wolf), they could certainly fit a much larger game path into 12 episodes.) But I guess if we wanted to talk specifics about how that could have been done, we'd have to take it to the game thread, since it's obvious now that they won't be doing it in any case.


And yeah, to confirm what Snowgoon posted (which matches earlier 2ch speculation), we already know that Motoka won't get a full path since the omake segments are labeled "M1", "M2", "M3", etc. Those are Motoka's path in the anime. We also know that episode 2 only applies to Kazuha and Akira given that it's "KA2". We also know that there will be four Blu-Rays with episode counts of 4, 4, 4, and 5, so everything lines up.

Well as long as I get to see Sora's route I'll be happy, although they could have done in 12 TT, there is plenty of material from the novel to make it slightly slow paced but very dramatic. Now 3 episodes is gonna feel kinda short, but I guess this way many fans will be happy seeing their favorite heroine get it her way.

Loved how all the comments from the stream kept saying 'DVD' during Kazuha's violin playing, then BOOM, sex scene

Shame that it had to be an omnibus format, but at least it'll drive [mod edit: "certain"] people away. If only Amagami was as explicit as this show...heck, especially with Kaoru's and Ai's endings, I would've enjoyed seeing Junichi take it further.

BD specials most likely will cover maid sexy friend and inchou routes
