Gundam SEED DESTINY (Phase 3 Discussion)

Phase 3 was preceeded with a strong in-land earthquake at Niigata prefecture north of Tokyo at 5.56 PM at M6.8 Japanese Scale (M7 is the maximum and buildings collapse at this scale). One more tremble hit at 6.03 PM (M6.2) during the show then the show was interrupted at 6.08 PM for live report. Four more trembles follow from the same center at 6.12 PM (M5.9), 6.28 PM (M4.4), 6.34 PM (M6.3), 6.57 PM (M5.1) respectively. The magnitude at Tokyo was 2-4 and that was strong enough to see my Gundam models dancing and something falling.

At 7.49 PM the show is not resumed yet. Many aftershocks still follow.

Spoiler for Phase 3 Partial Spoilers... To be continued...:

Spoiler for Chart of Japanese Scale of Earthquake Intensity:

Well, looks like there's no Destiny this week then...

But yeah, 5 quakes in a hour is pretty bad... No point in showing it for now I guess.

Aww....earthquakes at this time....looks like phase 3 will be delayed...let's hope they won't postphone the show. Either way, it seems that I'm not going to be able to get the raw ep until tomorrow? Or maybe next week? Oh well...anyway, thanks for that partial summary HaRoRuleZ!

For those who are curious of Japanese scale of earthquake intensity, I have added a chart in spoiler tag in my first post above. They do not use Richter scale here.

well, the first sentence says that Destiny will be re-run later. the second sentence says another two shows (one of the shows containing an "8 o'clock" in its title) will be stopped. there's no given time of the Destiny re-run yet.

It says on the MBS site that the earthquake interrupted episode 3 of Gundam SEED Destiny, and as soon as the reairing time and date for it is determined they will put it up on the page.

Yeah, seems like that'll go according to schedule... Don't know if people will be ripping raws from it though.

I have a question why don't the Japanese use the richter scale instead of M1 till M7?

Unfortunately, 3 deaths, 200+ injured, blackout, gas leakage, broken roads and bridges, bullet train derailment, fire, house collapsing, etc.

During Phase 1, the strongest typhoon (#22) in a decade landed. Three days before Phase 3, the most damage and killer typhoon (#23) landed. Before and during Phase 3, the powerful earthquake hit to mark the attack of MINERVA on Girty Lue.

Quick Google below. M denotes Magnitude.
