Quite a few studios still had asbestos in as fire retardant and as a construction material as well right up till the early 1990s and that could also be a contributing factor too.

Is Shirashi Haruka, the voice of Asirpa in Golden Kamuy, too experienced to qualify as "new" (five years or less)? Hers was one of the most distinctive performances of the past couple of years.

I wish they'd mention the award-winning performances, too. It's like someone receives the Oscar for Best Actor but the film is never mentioned.

Haruka Shiraishi debuted in 2012, so she can't be nominated for a rookie award.
Stream shows roles, but for some reason ANN decides to ommit them. Granted, they show more than one role. For Yuma Uchida, Banana Fish and Grand Blue were shown, for Yuko Sanpei it's Boruto and Captain Tsubasa, for Tohru Furuya it's Gundam and Detective Conan, for Kenta Miyake it's Boku no Hero Academia and Inazuma Eleven: Ares no Tenbin, for Nao Toyama it's Liz and the Blue Bird and Yurucamp (and also Granblue Fantasy for Game Performance award), for Yu Serizawa it's How NOT to Summon a Demon Lord and Kiratto Pri☆Chan, etc.

It just shows how far away I am from mainstream anime fans that I've watched only Yuru Camp and a bit of Detective Conan from that list.

So not only are both Uchida's seiyuu, but now they've also both won seiyuu awards .
