Which doesn't says much anything either. A product about the secondary main party?

The PS2 game most likely won't be in English but you never know... but probably not. If they were it would probably be after most of the Lucky Star DVDs are out in the US or even all of them.

So I got the Japanese version even though I only know a few Kanji here and there and some Kana. XP

If you mean the normal 2008 anime calendar, it's exclusive to Kyoto Animation's online store. I suppose you'd have to go through a proxy service to get it.

Yeah, this game won't ever be translated. There just aren't enough anime fans in North America who would also buy the game to make it worth their while. So the Japanese version is all there'll be.

So to summarise our collective understanding (you will be assimilated), there are two, possibly three different calendars out there:Despite Amazon's listing I'm not convinced the last one is actually a calender - if it is, perhaps the problem set consists of daily revision questions in a desk-calendar sort of format. That would fit with it being targeted at the start of the school year (although as someone on another forum pointed out, it might be socially unwise to start high school with a Lucky Star stationery set on your desk - sort of akin to standing up during class introductions and announcing "I have no interest in ordinary girls - if there are any otaku, miko or walking encyclopedias here, come join me!").

Tell people you're importing a game you can barely understand, and they'll look at you like you're crazy. Tell them you're importing "an interactive learning aid" to help improve your Japanese, and they'll admire your dedication

I see the game OP single is out 2008-03-05. Title is 「ハマってサボっておーまいがっ!」 - something about going wild and playing truant?

lol! Actually... I did kinda buy it for my Japanese knowledge... since when I imported a Japanese game before it actually helped me a whole lot. Reading is the only problem though... I don't have a problem not understanding it by listening to it. =P

I knew they were going to have a single for that song, I'll have to pre-order it. X3

Anybody bought the Lucky Star Okiraku Box ~ Kagami or Konata? I'm curious about its contents. More specifically the contents of the CD-ROM (what sort of goodies found in the CD). I'm inclined to buy either one or both. The CD-ROM contents will determine if I buy this item(s) or not.

I bought them both.
The CD-ROM contains wallpaper, desktop accessories and screensavers.

For some pictures showing the items inside the Okiraku boxes, you can visit my blog posts here:

Quoting my 1st blog post: "The last few images feature the contents in the CD-ROM: wallpaper, screen-saver, desktop accessories containing a calculator, a calendar, puzzle games, a clock display and a timer."

Well I decided to follow this advise and had my Lucky Star calendar sent through Japan Auction Agency. And yay! It arrived today. Now I am a happy Lucky star calendar owner
