I know what you mean. I had to go and cool off a little after watching this episode the first time because I was feeling so much hate for her.

The leopard doesn't change her spots over night. But, I guess that makes her an ideal nemesis for Taiga. Poor Taiga and her small stature, such a challenging thing to live with. And Ryuuji is quite the domestic hero, isn't he? Even knows how to sew breast pads. Too bad he didn't think to sew them into the swim suit. I guess Taiga just planned on sitting by the edge of the pool the whole time.

She dislikes Taiga and treats her poorly but then again it's mutual so I don't really look down on her for it.

I tend to agree... Ami and Taiga are both pretty broken in some respects -- they're just coping differently. Its interesting in the next episode watching Ryuuji hit and miss on when the "real" Ami is speaking, if ever. Watching Taiga trip and stumble over the rocks of what she *thinks* she wants with glimmers of what she might "really want" is equally interesting.
