I got a quick question guys i just finished reading the raws and am a little confused about some stuff

so whats the deal with the beasts there is the ranked ones (bronze silver gold legendary etc) then there is god growth, then there is dragon god growth, there are also ancient? bloodline beast oooo and that "duck" of his is not even a demon beast, but a spirit beast, and did he finally bound/contracted that Holy Blood dragon that he melted together?

so as i have said many times my MT isnt fluent so any help would be appreciated

Basically the bronze, silver, gold blah blah blah ranking gets to be thrown out the window. The REAL way to rank the beasts are by their growth rates and their bloodlines. The old way was taking a beast's actual strength whereas the growth rates measures the beast's potential. AKA the first one looks at how strong something currently is whereas the growth rates look at how strong something can potentially be in the future when you grow it enough.

Bloodlines are pretty much just adding onto the growth rates. Beasts with a bloodline are stronger than those without (cuz superior genes).

As for the mutated god-ranked growth rate dragon bloodline beast Nie Li got with the gacha- err I mean pot, he fused with it successfully. But he has to use the vines in his soul to restrain it because it's stronger than he is.

The weird thing is that it ALSO seems like a God Growth Silver rank is much stronger than a normal Silver rank.

So it's not just about potential, but also about how many special abilities/etc they get.

Probably because the latter is 'a lazy demon beast' while the former is 'a super talented one with lots of gimmicks'.

Normal bloodline is like your average joe on the street. Genes are inferior and useless.

Ancient is like your average noble/royalty. Genes are superior to the average joe in every way.

The last one (can't remember and too lazy to actually check the raws again) is pretty much your shounen hero with the OP as hell bloodline. Genes are superior to everything hidden potential everywhere.

Or at least that's the impression I got.

I think it has something to do with stats earned per level up like instead of getting +1 to str/int/agi per level, it gets +1.5-2 str/int/agi per level or something. It's like comparing Enchantress' str gain per level to centaur warrunner's str gain per level.

The bloodline of spirit beasts in this novel sound similar with dinosaur and modern lizard , older one is stronger but something happen and they become extinct

Nie Li finally told someone, Long Yu Yin, about his plan to take down the Sage Emperor. We found out a bit more about him - he apparently controls three worlds on the level of the Dragon Ruin Realm, and has locked down time and space (whatever that means). Nie Li, it seems, was far from the first to challenge him - countless people have tried to fight back against his tyranny which has lasted eons, but no one has ever won (obviously, since he's still in charge).

The divination art practiced by Long Yu Yin's master + Ying Yue Ru is one of the keys to rebelling against him, which is why anyone who practices it ends up dead - he will allow nothing else. This is what Ying Yue Ru meant when she said earlier that she would shift the Sage Emperor's attention from Nie Li to herself. It doesn't bode well for her

We also learned that there is a tribe that's capable of fighting the Sage Emperor on equal ground, but that they lost their holy maiden and they fell apart. I have to wonder if that doesn't have some relationship with Yu Yan?

Finally, Nie Li formally accepted Long Yu Yin as his disciple and got her to agree to vie for the succession of her house. Of the three main houses of their sect, Gu Bei has already been assigned the position of primary succession candidate; Li Xing Yun's fate is now inextricably tied in with his, and he's already fighting to succeed as head of his house; and now Long Yu Yin has agreed to do so as well. If and when they each take over their respective houses, that should help him achieve his goal of attaining the position of head of their sect. I wonder how far out all of this will be.

I'm not sure when but I'm assuming this series is going to end up in the 1400 or so chapter range and from the looks of it the princess of that one tribe who can fight 圣帝 will most likely meet up with Nie li at some point. Personally I hope Nie Li only ends up with 3-4 girls at most.

From what Nie Li can tell, he became something of a taboo for City Lord clan. Later events showed how bad he is inside.

Unlikely, he is a tyrant but he is just a little more powerful than past Nie Li. There should be more and more powerful beings than him around, he just rule a few worlds while Nie Li stated that there are million of those worlds around

She never told him about that guy and Lie Ni never saw in the battle for Glory city. His later actions showed how twisted he is inside.

Clearly something similar happened in the first timeline that turn him into a taboo for Zu Yun
